CHANGING LIGHTBULB ON MICROWAVE

You need to remove the cover from the oven. Pull the plug first! Remove the Philips Screws. There are two special screws that are meant to prevent your proceeding further. No standard driver will fit these screws. You can remove them with small pliers gripping the outer edge of the screw and turning counter clockwise. If you are not familiar with capacitors, get somebody who is familiar. The light socket snaps in. Unsnap it. The lamp is taped to the socket with cellophane tape. I have never removed the lamp nor do I know the number. Do not plug in the oven with out the cover!!!!!

You must remove the cabinet shell, it is held on by sheet metal screws, remove them all the bulb is inside.

remove the screws holding the outer shell and carefully remove it.... the bulb should be accessable then. make sure the replacement bulb is equivelent to what is in the microwave now. do not operate the microwave without the cover on it. if possible test the bulb before you put it in.

unplug the microwave
remove all of the screws that hold the outer shell on, you dont have to remove the front ok now just remove the shell and you will see the light bulb it will be in the top towards the front ok than replace the old bulb with a new one and put the shell back on and reinstall all of the screws and optest

From everything I have read it is a 1100w inverter, I am having the same problem.
