Ive forgot my password for my toshiba satellite pro a10 laptop, how do i reset password? and get into it ? thanks

• Unscrew the original Toshiba Satellite Pro A10 Hard Disk Drive & remove it from the cradle.
• Screw the new Toshiba Satellite Pro A10 Hard Disk Drive into the cradle & refit the cradle into the laptop.
• Re-install XP or Vista

I think you might need to check the Satellite family instead of Satellite pro to find the A10

Restart the computer,

Right after the Toshiba logo appears start tapping the F8 key.

You will get an option to start in Safe Mode.

Select this option and let the computer start in Safe Mode.

If given the option you will want to log in as Administrator.

After you are logged in you will want to go to the Control Panel and then click on the Users link.

Select your account and choose to remove the password.

Reboot the computer and you should be able to access your account.

Computer passwords In the CMOS setup locate the password section and enter, change or remove the password.
