follow the steps below;
At the right down part of your screen, right-click on your battery bar, scroll to "Adjust screen brightness"
Look down, at the middle of the screen, you will find screen brightness there.

Fixing the brightness of your screen is easy on the Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Paperwhite, all of which provide screen brightness controls. This feature is not available on the original Kindle, however, as the screen is not backlit.

If tese dont work either your LCD lamp or board may be going bad.

If the LCD screen is too bright or too dark, adjust the LCD Brightness setting in the Setup Menu. If you are shooting photos outdoors in bright light, move the joystick to the icon showing the sun over shaowed area to turn on Outdoor mode and make the LCD screen easier to see in bright light.
