You should re-install the winxp again. For doing it without losing any existing data, do it as per the following instructions: - Boot your computer using the XP CD. You may need to change the boot order in the system BIOS so the CD boots before the hard drive. When you see the welcom setup screen, chose the "To setup Windows XP now, press ENTER" option. DO not choose "To repair a Windows XP installation using the Recovery Console, press R" !!!! Accept the License Agreement and Windows will search for existing Windows installations. Select the XP installation you want to repair from the list and press R to start the repair. Setup will copy files to the hard drive will reboot tour computer and will start winxp installation. Good luck !

How do you watch a CD on my laptop?

You probably need to find and install DVD decoder software. There are also free players available online with built-in decoders.

You need to lower your screen resolution. Right click desktop > Properties. Lower Screen Resolution to 800x600. You mave to do this in Safe Mode by pressing F8 during boot.

My windows xp is consistenly flashing auto adjust in progress how do i make it stop please?

Windows XP Repair installation causes Automatic Updates to no longer recognize that updates are needed, leaving the computer in a vulnerable state until Service Packs and updates are re-applied. go to either the Windows Update or Microsoft Update web sites and install any needed Windows Service Packs or updates.

Issues!!help please

If you open the DVD from "Media Player Classic", i think it should work.
Go to the installation folder of K-Lite Codec Pack (Probably C:\Program Files if you didn't change it)
The open de folder "Media Player Classic" and execute "mplayerc.exe".

Make sure the DVD is in the DVD-drive and go to File -> Open DVD

If this does not work, I think you have a very special DVD, or the DVD is damaged...
