Hi: Yeap... And did you try to move the cable a little bit to see if something happens? Most Sony's have that problem and it's only the connection cable-camera... Try it... if that's the problem just try to get the touch and then you can use it well. Another thing you can do is buy a All cards hub Regards

Bad USB conection?

If your camera's driver is not installed, it will not work.
Make sure you go to the manufactures site, and download the correct driver there.
However, if your driver IS installed, then yes, your USB cord might have gotten bad.

Thank you.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I have an Olympus X-44, its new and worked fine, but since I had to install a new hard drive this and another digital camera shuts down my computer everytime its connected to my pc, I need the cameras for...

Obviously there is a camera firmware issue. You said you have printers can you see if one of the printers has a set of memory card readers for "Direct Printing these look like Odd looking USB ports but memory cards plug into them. You can use one of these ports to bypass your camera download system and camera software. The files can be loaded directly to your computer hard drive to a New folder you create in "My Documents" this system has now stepped around both your camera firmware and camera computer software. If you have a Photoshop program you can open and do what ever you want to these images. Failing having a printer with memory card reading capabilities the readers themselves are fairly inexpensive. Hope this was of some help

My computer won't load any driver for webcams.

If they are USB then DO NOT PLUG IN until driver is loaded, most common fault.

My computer is not showing when my camera is plugged in

Make sure the camera is turned on, plug the USB cable into your PC first, then into the camera, wait for a beep from your PC to show it has recognized the hookup, then go to "My Computer" and look for the Fuji icon. Don't unplug the camera anytime the lights are flashing on it.

1) There is no need to shout - it is considered ill-mannered.

2) Have you actually re-installed all the necessary software and drivers for this equipment ?

3) Have you installed a different OS ? You may need to obtain different drivers if the old ones are not compatible.

My pictures won't upload

What i would do is to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them back again but just don't plug in the camera to the computer until it asks you to or not until it goes (Detecting new Device). Thats what i would do. Usually that fixes the problem. Another thing could be your USB connection is not working check it by plugging in another device to the same port and see what happens. Maybe its you USB connection. Let me know how that goes
