Question about Sidi Genius 5.5 Shoes

I have stripped the mountings inside the sole and want to know if it is repairable. I have had the shoes for under a year.

I have repaired several types of cycling shoes before. Unfortunately the repair parts are usually only available from the manufacturer.
BUT, have you tried returning them to the store? If that doesn't help, contact the manufacturer. They may send you another pair (happens frequently) or at least the repair parts to take to your local Shoe Repair shop.

8 yr old boots. Both have cracked width-wise across the sole. One has cracked deeply through all the layers, the other is not as deep, but not great. Can these be fixed?

the problem is that the soles have a formula in the sole that deteriorates with age or lack of use and the composition breaks down
the same thing will happen if you buy new with the same type of sole material and put them in the cupboard for say a year , then wear them , the soles will break in about 3 hours of wearing

A shoe repair shop can take care of this. Ask to see a piece of their work to be sure the shop does good work!

The soles of the shoes disentegrated

You can get these repaired at a shoe repair shop. Replacement soles can be put on and the shoes will be as good as new.

You can repair it yourself if you have leather or some closed cell top cover material to put in. If not, a shoe repair shop can help you with this.

Naturalista soles can be repaired by nearly any shoe repair shop. They will know how to do this.

Need replacement soles for my Sebago Docksides but local repair shop says a special tool is required that can sew inside the indentations in the soles. Can Sebago suggest a repair place in Manhattan?

Wow, it's things like that that make the industry look bad. To sew the soles on Docksides or Topsiders you need a McKay stitcher. I can't imagine any shoe repair NOT having one. They are a necessity. Call around until you find a shop with a McKay stitcher.
