The Control LED have suddenly stopped working ? Any ideas on how to repair ? Is their a fuse ? If so where ? The refrig seems to be working correctly Chris K
Had similar problem on KitchenAid KSRA25ILSS side-by-side, only the whole controls stopped responding (i.e. fridge/freezer got warm). Pulled the plug and reset the controller and is now running OK (knock on wood). Saved $70 service charge...so far.

The problem is almost certainly in the controller or its power supply. Try pulling the plug for a minute or two - for some reason the display portion of the controller may have been sent out to lunch by a power surge or alpha particle. It woudn't be the first time. Check for bad connections between the display panel and the power supply and solder joints on the controller board. With everything else operational, a bad microcontroller chip is not that likely but is still a possibility. Good luck
