Question about Zebra ELTRON 2622 TT Printer

Open Question

Alignment I attempted to fix a tag alignment problem utilizing directions I found online. Now, my printer won't do anything and it has an orange light at the tag feed button. I normally only get either a red or green light. Any ideas?

Here's the right way to fix the problem.

Autosense Procedure, Configuration Label and Dump Mode:
Models: Orion (2442, 2443 and 2543), Transport (P-2242), Xport (P-2222), LP/TLP Strata (2684), LP/TLP-2722, 2742, 3742, LP/TLP-2824 ,LP/TLP 2844 and TLP-3842

  1. Turn off printer and have media loaded (on older Transports, with no ON/OFF switch, remove battery).
  2. Hold feed button down, and turn printer back on (on older Transports, re-insert battery) while holding down the feed button.
  3. When the light starts flashing, release the feed button.
  4. Printer light will turn green and advance a few blanks.
  5. After printer stops advancing and prints the internal information, press the feed button one time.
  6. You will get another label with the "Out of Dump" message on it.
Printer is now ready for use.

SOURCE: Zebra label alignment

you can adjust this in the template file for your price tags. how did you create your basic price tag label? in the zebra label creator? if so, make the adjustment there. if you have a .ejf file for your price tag label, you should be able to open it in notepad and add the height in pixel dots with the "q" or "Q" command from the EPL programming handbook. This can be a little tricky, but with some trial and error, you can get it.

SOURCE: Hi can you help ? My zebra TLP 2824 printer keeps

If you are using a ribbon remove it and perform a calibration, hold down feed key for 2 seconds as you power on, release key and wait for it to complete its calibration, when it has stopped shifting labels (wait for 10 secs to be sure) HIT THE FEED KEY to exit dump mode. If it has successfully calibrated it will feed a label each time you hit feed key. Re-install ribbon, make sure ribbon is pushed formly onto drive sprockets and then re-run the calibration..

If this does not fix problem. download firmware to latest version. This will automatically reset printer to factory default condition.

SOURCE: My Zebra LP 2844 printer is not aligned and the

Calibrate the media that is in the printer. Power the printer on while holding the feed key. When it flashed red, let go. It will calibrate, print a config label, then go into dump. Press the feed key again to exit dump. Once this is complete, your printer should advance only one label at a time when you press the feed key. If this is working as expected, but the labels are not printing right when you print from you application, there is a problem with your format or driver settings.

Canon mg 3550 alignment problem?

Dear sir

I have encountered this problem on other printers. Try to clean the ribbon sensor found just above the head. It is a plastic digitizer strip used to align the head movement. Usually it has some grease on it just clean it with some cloth very gently.

How do i align my printhead on canon iP1200

I assume you are using windows.
  1. Go to START, SETTINGS, PRINTERS, double click on the printer icon. Go to FILE, to PROPERTIES, then click on the printer SERVICES tab. Click on ALIGN the print cartridge button and follow instructions on the screen. hope this works
  2. Align the print cartridges Typically, you only align print cartridges after installing or replacing a cartridge. However, you may also need to align cartridges when:
    • Characters are improperly formed or are misaligned at the left margin.
    • Vertical, straight lines are wavy.
    From your printer:
    1. Load plain paper.
    2. Press the Menu button, and scroll to Align Cartridges.
    3. Press Select. An alignment page prints. Once this page prints, your automatic alignment is complete.
    From your computer:
    1. Load plain paper.
    2. Open the Canon Pixma IP 1200 Utility.
    3. From the Cartridges tab, click Align Cartridges... . The Cartridge Alignment dialog appears. alignprintcartridgesa.jpg alignmentpanther.jpg
    4. Click Continue to print the alignment page.
    5. On the Alignment Status dialog, click OK if automatic alignment is successful. If automatic alignment is not successful, clicking OK will return you to Utility Main Window.

My lexmark x2600 keeps telling me i need to realign the cartridge but nothing is really wrong.. wont let me print anything but alignment test pages. How do i fix this

One of the utilities included with the Lexmark software will print a "test" page.
Then, you view the test page, and enter some numbers into the utility.
The utility uses those numbers to (ectronically) align the print-heads.

Out of alignment

Hi,

Check the following Steps for fixing alignment error :

  • Double-click the HP printer icon in the system tray at the lower right end of your desktop. Navigate to the "Toolbox" tab.
  • Click on the "Status" link on the left side of the window. Scroll through the "Status" menu and click on the "Print Info Pages" link.
  • Click the blue "Print" button located to the right of the "Configuration Page" heading. Check the print page to see if the "L" shaped bars are overlapping or bleed into each other.
  • Contact HP directly for a repair or replacement if the "L" bars do not have any overlap, as that will indicate an extensive mechanical problem that can't be fixed through troubleshooting.
  • Return to the "Toolbax" tab if the color bars are overlapping. Click on the model number of your HP color laser printer at the upper left end of the window. Click on the "Device Settings" link.
  • Choose the "Print Quality" option and then click on the "Calibrate" button on the right side of the window. Click "OK" in the new window that appears and wait for the alignment calibration process to finish.
  • Attempt to print a document again and see if the alignment is still off. If the alignment is not correct, repeat the calibrating, since the HP color laser printer may need to be calibrated more than once to fix the alignment.

Please all I ask is call back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one, so I will keep on helping

My printer is not working it has flashing green and orange lights

To resolve this error you will need to remove the ink cartridges and the print head.
Gently, wipe clean the print head and the cartridges with a moistened cotton swab.
Replace the components and make sure that the parts are seated securely and well placed.
Now, to check for alignment, run the cleaning and alignment utility.
This should help in resolving the error.

Cartridge alignment failed on a C5280 HP printer

I had the same problem after changing the black cartridge. After trying everything i found online to fix this fault and replacing the new black cartridge again, i replaced the tricolour cartridge even that it had a quarter ink left! This solved the problem, I think the colour was abit weak for the printer to check alignment.
Try it, it worked for me and good luck
