Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help Click on the tools at the bottom of the drop down list will be internet options or Click start control panel internet options you will see a home page box To Create Page Tabs type each adress on its own line (type in yahoo.com) or you preferred home page and browser below that will be change search defaults click on settings you will see all search Providers Toolbar extensions and Accelerators you have have if dont need any of them you can disable or remove them
In Internet Explorer, click Tools then select Toolbars and see if the Yahoo Toolbar is checked. If not, check it. If it is not listed then I would recommend installing it again.

The My Yahoo! icon will be added to the Yahoo toolbar.
Go to the Yahoo website and right click on your house at top right of your screen. You will see taht you have toolbar options and, at the bottom of the list you will see "add or change home page" If you click on that, it will give you the choice to make Yahoo your homepage.
You can remove the toolbar from Contol panel--------> programs and remove the toolbar from there.
Once done you have to change the homepage of the browser that you use.
If its Internet explorer click on tools on the top right hand side of the page, select internet options and where it says Homepage type in the box http://www.google.com and then click apply.
With Mozilla Firefox click on tools -----> Options and in the box type http://www.google.com, then click OK and you should have the home page back if click on the Home icon.
I may be of little help. Are you using windows IE, internet explorer. if so on right there is a Tools. Click it and it will list several settings. go to toolbar and if yahootoolbar is listed make sure it has a check mark by it. I see in you question that you may have tried this. There should be away to restore toolbar. You or somebody may have clicked x on left side of of toolbar.
right click in an empty area just above or below your Google toolbar and put a check next to yahoo toolbar (I'm assuming you have already installed it). This works in both IE and Firefox.
