Download the user's manual also from the website - it will let you know what to do next.
I have written an article that you can see in the "Tips & Tricks" section on how to download songs to your Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11. Make sure you get the firmware update before using Windows Media Player 11, however: Philips issued a firmware upgrade for this model to correct the freezing issue. You can't use the version of the Philips Device Manager that came on the installation CD. You have to go to www.philips.com/support, enter your country, enter your model #, click on SA 6045/37 without the B, and click on the Software & Drivers link. Within the software & drivers link, you must download the link underneath "Device/Firmware Manager" - this will give you the latest version of the Device Manager. Using the new Device Manager, connect your mp3 player to the computer and click on the "Update" button within the Philips Device Manager. This will upgrade your player's firmware, and fix the freezing issue.
