I have a sanyo scp-200 model phone and over the past couple of days the phone has been totally cutting off. It only does this when I am on a call. I can leave it on all day and it does not do this. I can text people without this problem. If I try to call the person back when the phone cuts back on I usually can talk to them maybe 2 minutes and then same thing.

Re: sanyo phone cutting off
I've seen this happen with corrosion that damaged only the calling part apparently. If you're not inssured you can open it up and look for it, should be visible. If you want to clean it, don't use any solvents or non distilled water. an eraser works sometimes.

Remove the battery and the plastic sheet on the screens (if still on them). Put phone in the oven turned to lowest setting (below 200 F. if possible). Let stay in oven for 8 hours and try the phone. This procedure fixed mine after it was in washing machine.
