No. The only lubrication is found in the form of grease inside the sealed bearings. You cannot relubricate them. If they are getting noisy you need to have them replaced before they end up causing more damage.

Hi Rodney:
In an oil change, you drain ALL of the oil out and replace the oil filter.
Then you put new oil in. The oil pump pickup tube will be immersed in the oil, and as soon as the engine turns over, the oil pump will be drawing oil.
There will be no need to bleed the oil pump.
I would just happily start it up. If there is no oil pressure within 30 seconds I would shut it down and look for a problem.

It is not pumping engine oil
You need a working oil pump to pump the oil around the engine. If the oil is not being pumped through, the oil pump has failed or there is a blockage in the lubrication system.

Most likely the oil pump has failed and needs to be replaced.

No oil pressure, ticking motor
Possibly a failed oil pump. Check engine oil level first.Make sure it is at least to the safe zone on your engine dipstick. if the motor has not had regular oil changes ( i change mine every 3000 miles like clock work) the oil can sludge and clog oil passages and pickup screen to oil pump.

If the engine is not making any kind of engine knocking ( rod bearing ), then you be alright with just the oil pump and oil pick-up screen, hope this was very helpful.

The pump requires no maintenance and no oil change. It is lubricated for life.

I have a robinair 34700zasking me if i wanna change the oil nowhow do i do that and what type of oil i need to use?....ty
You have run the machine 10+ hours for vacuum since last oil change. so you have to change vacuum pump oil. For change vacuum pump oil just follow the bellow step: Press main menu then keep pressing up or down arrow key till display show "CHANGE VACUUM OIL'' then press "YES" key. Now vacuum pmp will run for two minute & stop automaticly. When pump stop you just open the oil drain plug & oil fill cap of vacuum pump ( Located oute side of the machine near high & low side hose ) & drain all oil from vacuum pump. After draining used oil,replace oil drain plug & fill new ROBINAIR vacuum pump oil till middel of sight glass.Press "YES" key & follow on screen messeage. NOTE: Do not over fill the pump & Do not use any COMPRESSOR oil on the vacuum pump!

Replace oil pump
The oil pump is internal and the oil pan must be removed to access it. An 07 needs an oil pump? Let's discuss the reason> May be able to avoid such a task. Why do you feel the need to change the oil pump?

If you are takling about the external oil tank, you don't need the pump, you need to replace the oil tank level sensor.

you have to drop the oil pan to get to it...once the oil pan is off there are 2 bolts that holdthe pump in place,,,you will also need a new screen for the new pump.
