From the looks of the port on the side in the manual, all you need is a USB to Mini USB cable, you can also get a Mini USB AC adapter separately or as part of a combo with the cable. Hope that helps. Here's a picture of a Mini USB tip to ensure that it looks correct.
same as u, i bought one recently from Aldi... luckily i have proper usb cable can use borrow from other devices (i.e. card reader and external hard disk drive). i guess this cable tech. name is "USB A Male to USB Mini 5 B Male Cable". You can buy one from BigW, Kmart, Office Work etc. Of couse the cost will be cheaper if buy one from any local discount variety stores such as Reject, Go Lo, Hot Dollar etc. Oh, one more thing, there is no special charging gadget to charge the player. Just connect it to your PC with proper usb cable. It will charge by itself ~little
There are a few different types of USB cables. However, the connector on one side that goes into the computer is standard. The problem is the other side. Fortunately this is not a big problem. Take your camera with you, to a store like radio shack, Source or best buy. Look in the USB cable section to a matching (with the opening on the camera) connector. If it is difficult for you to identify, any sales person will be able to select one. All you got to be looking for is the connector (shape) that match. There is nothing special in the cable.
You will not be able to transfer the songs to your media card and then transfer it to your device.. you will need to transfer it directly to your device from the computer...if you want i can send you a link where you can obtain your device USB cable. Let me know if you need additional help Thank you Computerrep
After installation, you can start communication between the phone and the computer through either cable (special cable connecting the phone to USB port) or bluetooth port. You need a USB dongle attached to your computer if you use bluetooth. The special cable can be purchased from Nokia website.
The Nokia PC suite allows you to input files directly to your phone's memory or SD card from the computer. The Music Player or Media Player in your phone can play the music files. It supports both Midi and MP3 files.
Your query > ..."wire...to hook...mp3 player ...RCA RS2044 stereo..."
You need to connect the headset out of your MP3 player using a special cable to theInterfaces/Ports:
AUX-in of the RCA RS2044.
One of the many technical name for the special cable is RCA Male Stereo to male baby phone stereo, the common name is MP3 to RCA and it is similar to the function and look of a Cygnett
Groove Transit - MP3 Phone to R...
Hope that this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
Ah, this is the biggest fault with the RCA Opal: the dedicated USB cord. My suggestion: buy another one, take the USB cord out and return it to the store saying you opened it and you didn't get a USB....and that you'll buy another one at another store.
i know it's sneaky, but that's the only way.
