Question about T-Mobile Sidekick II
If you have a torx set disassemble it using google. You can clean the keys with soap and water if they aren't attached to the electronic innards :)

Get a cotton tip swab and dip it in some alcohol. Squeeze out excess liquid, hold your palm upside down with the screen facing the floor. Use the swab around the stuck button to clean away the stickiness. Holding the TX upside down keeps any liquid from spilling into the key housing. Leave the TX face down until it dries completely (should be a couple minutes).

Whatever you do DON'T use any spray solvents to clean the contacts. Any solvent will completely wreck the thin membranes used on some keyboards. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the area. Try not to spread the gunk any further than it already is. As for the button keep wiping it down with a slightly damp cloth and a small amount of soap and I mean small. Keep wiping all around the button and then push it and then wipe again.. You may have to do this 20 times but eventually it should clear the sugar residue. Every time you wipe the button use an unused piece of cloth otherwise you'll just be spreading the gunk back on. BMW

The more you leave it on, the more damage it can cause. it's chemical reaction, and sugars can do lot's of damage to elctronic circuits. you'll have to open it up and clean it, or send it to a lab. take a look at this post: http://www.fixya.com/problems-solutions/t102667,p97334/Samsung-12-Button-LCD-Prostar-DCS-Phone.aspx The only difference for you is that the damage might be more local, and you might be able to treat it locally without risking getting more of it wet. try to isolate it and work only on the parts that got juice on them. Good luck
