Update your video car drivers and then look for the specific drivers of your monitor, it happened to me once using windows 7 i just installed the monitor's driver from the manufacturers website. go to acer website and support download page and search for your model, donwload and install and hope that solves your problem.

Game has error, says to consult Wii operations manual

It's most likely the disc that is causing trouble. If all of your other games work, it the game you bought. I had the same problem with MySims Party, I went to the store where I bought it, they gave me a new disc, which worked fine.

Hi caeggleston,

"every time I try to run any PC game I have" Running the games before, do you encounter the same problem you posted. If not there's a problem, have you read the system requirements of the game your playing before installing, unless its a mini game like book of worm etc. but most game now a days requires a decent video card considering you're using a AGP video card. try to run 3D Mark 2003, 3D Mark 2006 or FurMark (for stability) if there's no problem with the card it should stand the stress test or just a simple test. If you see garbled image during testing, your video card have problems consider replacing them.

Hopefully this information helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

Acer al1716 monitor input not supported

You get the message because the game try to run at the PC video resolution that you monitor cannot display/support. You need to run your game at native resolution of the monitor.

Lcd montior with tv box but no hdmi sound

in some cases certain manufacturers say in the instructions that when using s video with seperate audio, you cannot use the HDMI for the sound and sometimes visa versa, it's just the way the output is set up. Remove the other sound cable you are using for pc or tv and just use HDMI to confirm that the sound is re-enabled on the HDMI

Input Not Supported?

Try changing the resolution in the game. If that doesn't work change the resolution in 'Control Panel' under 'Display'

Input not supported when trying to play a game

the game will need to be set to the same screen resolution as your monitor or the best that suits, beccause of it being widescreen, so look in the graphic or video settings in the game, or change the resolution of your monitor to suit the games highest setting. This is done by right clicking on your desktop, down to properties and then the settings tab in the next window and then move the slider at the screen resolution box.
