We just bought this fridge from home depot. We got it at a good price because it has dents. They delivered it today. They left no directions or any type of warranty. We have an ice maker in it. We have no idea why the fridge won't get cold. It has been plugged in for 5+ hours and it has not started to get cold. The freezer is cooling but is very slow. What do I do? '

give it 24 hours to balance itself . It has 2 evaporators.Make sure you hear fans in both compartments.This machine is highly computerized . If it is not giving you any trouble codes ,all systems are go.
Re post problem if not normal in 24

Delivery

It was rather incompetent of Home Depot to set up a delivery of something when they have no stock. It is an unlikely scenario and the truth is they probably did have stock but it was likely "stolen" by another over-competitive salesperson to fill another order in a "deliberate" breakdown in communication. This isn't unusual and is easy to imagine considering there was an incentive to boost the sales of dishwashers in that area.

If you have already paid and part of the reason you bought that dishwasher was delivery and installation could be completed before the end of the year in order to qualify for the incentive, it constitutes a contract. You made a contract with Home Depot and they have broken that contract.
Their Maytag excuses aren't your problem and you should have no interest in them. Your contract is with the retailer and not the manufacturer or supplier.

I suggest you put your complaint in writing providing as much detail as possible and providing names of people you spoke to and times/dates of order, invoice numbers, phone conversations and so forth. Ask for a firm delivery date within a certain time and then say how much compensation you need for the lost rebate and general inconvenience.
Send it to the company managing director or CEO by old-fashioned mail that must be signed for when delivered. Tell them to reply within 14 days and then sit back and wait.

If the company is respectable you will certainly receive some compensation. If the company is not respectable they will do nothing and wait for you to sue, though you will demand your money back and go elsewhere and make it known you will do whatever you can to persuade your friends, neighbours, family, colleagues to do likewise.

I think you need a new fridge/freezer. Look for offers now on sale some are quite reasonably priced and home Depot has interest free credit.

We have a Vigoro Two Zone Water Timer. The timer started beeping and flashing that the batteries are low. We put new batteries in and it is still beeping and flashing low battery. What do we do now?

The timer is no good.
1) Clean battery terminals and make sure battery polarity is correct.

2) If you bought timer at Home Depot, call:
Internet Customer Service Center at 1-800-435-4654

3) If you live near Home Depot, then buy new timer and return defect timer in new package.

4) Here's what Home Depot customers say about this timer: the product will fail after 4 months, only worked one season, failed right out of box, new batteries did not restore functionality, etc. Only two good reviews.

Bought a 36" oscillating tower fan model FZ10-9LR

I bought an Admiral washer Model No. ATW4475VQ. I bought it from Home Depot. The first washer was delivered, and when I did a load of laundry, water leaked from the bottom of the washer. I did not see any...

It's impossible to tell. from your description.

Usually a new washer is set up with new hoses. If the installers aren't complete idiots that should be good.

You can look at where the water lines come out of your wall and make sure it isn't wet there.

You could also test the water pressure at your house and make sure it isn't extremely high. Sometimes these new units can't take overly high water pressure.

Go to Sears Parts Direct on the internet, and order from there. Or find a different hardware store (Lowe's, Home Depot, Meijer). Anywhere that sells washing machines.

Depending on where you live, there may also be a Sears Parts depot that you can go to. You can find them on the Sears Parts Direct website.

Fridge not cooling

It might be that the fan motor somehow got disconnected or worn out, or that the fan itself is stuck.  It’s located in back of the freezer.  Gently unscrew the back and check it out.  You might also have to unscrew the thermostat housing if it is on the top of the fridge part.  If the fan is turning, it’s okay.  If not, turn the thermostat down to its lowest setting and see if it turns on.  If not, unplug it and test it with a continuity tester.  If, there’s no continuity it will need to be replaced.  Good luck.
