How do i reset my email fonts

Changing font size for reading in Outlook and Gmail

To read Mail in a larger font in Outlook:
  • Hold down Ctrl while turning the scroll wheel on your mouse down.
In Outlook 2007 and later, alternatively
  • Open the message in its own window.
  • Click Other Actions.
  • Select Zoom... from the menu.
  • Choose the desired zoom level.
  • Click OK.
Outlook will not remember the zoom level.

Since this does not work with plain text emails (the mouse wheel does), also select Tools ' Options... from the menu, go to the Mail Format tab, click Fonts... and use the Choose Font... button under When composing and reading plain text: to choose a bigger font. The above instructions are courtesy of About.com.

Here is a link referring to reading Gmail.

When I reply to an e-mail on OUtlook 2010, the font size is very small - and I cannot read the original or what I am typing. Any ideas on how to restore the normal size

Having trouble seeing that small default font of Microsoft Outlook emails? There are three ways of making Outlook email text bigger.
The first includes increasing the text size of the outgoing email messages.
The second includes increasing the text size of messages that are replied to or forwarded.
The last includes making all the text of incoming emails larger as well.

Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.
Find the Personal Stationary tab, then find and click the Font button located under the New Mail Messages heading.
On the Font tab that appears, there will be a variety of options including changing the type of font, style, size and color.

Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new setting will take place the next time a message is composed.

Replies or Forwarded Mail
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Find the Personal Stationary tab, then click the Font button that is located under the Replying or Forwarding Messages heading.
Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new settings will take place the next time a message is replied to or forwarded.

Incoming Email Messages
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Look for the Display Font heading on the Personal Stationary tab and increase the size the size of the font by selecting a larger number.
This will increase the text size for all plain text incoming email.
However, it will not increase the text size of incoming HTML emails.

Set the option to read all incoming email as plain text if it is necessary to increase the text size of all incoming emails.
To do this, go to Tools, then click on Options, then look for the button that says Email Options and click Read all Standard Mail as Plain Text.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

Want to make my text size larger

In the "basic text" box are 2 A's, a large one with an up arrow to make the text larger, and a small one with a down arrow to make the text smaller. Just click on the large A until you get the size you want.

How to enlarge fonts on my e-mails -they have

Most email clients have a text zoom feature. This is also most likely the cause of your fonts "becoming small".
Usually you can find the option under View -> Text-Size when looking at an email.
You can also usually hold down CTRL on your keyboard and move the wheel on the mouse up or down till you get the right size.
The actual settings depend largely on what email client you are using though, so if my suggestions do not work then specify what email program you are using - e.g. Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express or Thunderbird.

The font size of my incoming email is too small. How do I finx it

To customize the fonts used by default for reading and composing messages as well as replies in Outlook:

Select Tools | Options... from the menu.
Go to the Mail Format tab.
Click Fonts... under Stationery and Fonts.

Use the Font... buttons under New mail messages, Replying or forwarding messages and Composing and reading plain text messages to choose the desired font faces, sizes and styles.

In Outlook 2003, use Choose Font... for When composing a new message:, When replying and forwarding: and When composing and reading plain text:.

Click OK.

In Outlook 2003, if stationery is defined to be used by default under Use this stationery by default:, the font specified in it may override the font you have just specified. You can either choose "<None>" as the default stationery, adapt the stationery to include your favorite font, or make Outlook ignore font specified in stationery altogether.

Click OK again.
