When you start the cycle it takes in detergent and some water, however, stops soon after with a flashing message F 07OR 07 F. I have no idea what that means and switching it to another cycle does not allieviate the problem.
I had the same problem with my AWM8163.The display flashed F07. I did check all the connections, but that was not the problem.
I found out that it was the brushes on the elektro-motor.To find out you can take of the back-panel where you find the motor. Losen 2 screws /bolts M13, take away the drive-belt,take away the bolts and the wiring. Then you can take out the motor and check the brushes. The are mounted back of the motor(black brackets)with two screws. If they don`t make kontakt with the motor it is woren out.Replace them with new ones from a dealer-shop. Remember to unplug the electricity of the machine before working on it !Good luck :-)

F07 is a motor control unit error, The central control board has detected a short in the motor control board. Now it could be a simple as your harness working its way loose where you have a bad connection. You can remove the top by removing the 3 screws in the back and sliding the top toward the rear. You will be able to see the central control board center in back. Check all the harness plugs to see if they are set by unplugging them and reinserting them. You can drop the front bottom panel by removing the screws holding it in place, lift up a little and remove. You will see the motor control board. Try unplugging the harness motor at the motor and re-inserting it. Sometimes the connection works itself loose. If the aformentioned does not solve the problem, either your motor control board or motor itself is the issue.

What does the Sd code mean?
This code indicates that excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the wash action and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This process is necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds.
Concentrated detergents labeled 2x and higher will require a small amount of detergent based on load size. Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Use only HE High Efficiency detergent for BravosTM washers.
Is "Sd" displayed and the wash cycle dial is flashing? This indicates the washer was not able to clear all the excess suds from the washer. Re-select your desired cycle using cold water. Press Start/Pause. Do not add detergent. Is "Sd" displayed and the wash cycle dial is not flashing? If "Sd" is displayed and the wash cycle dial is not flashing, allow the machine to continue running, even if it appears that nothing is happening. When "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the wash action will pause to allow the bubbles in the suds to break, and the washer will add water for better rinsing. This rinsing process is necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. Is the drain hose kinked or clogged? Make sure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Remove any blockage from the drain hose, drainpipe or utility sink. Use the U-shaped drain hose form on the drain hose, and secure the drain hose. To remove the error display, press Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel once.
If Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel does not work: NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other questions above have been checked, call for service.

On my washer the display showed also F07. I replaced the motor control unit, but this didn´t help. However, when I checked the motor; one of the carbon brushes was totally worn out. So now I´m going to replace it, to see if that solves the problem. // Goran, Malmoe, Sweden
