I believe my oven was purchased in 1998. I can not fing the model or serial number. The lock in stuck engaged and I can not close my oven. How do I get it to close. Thank you.
The tag is on the back cover or the control panel on the rear corner. Now the model you gave has whats called a door latch/motor assy. Its part # is 1056181 and cost 61.80 and the reason the units stuck on the closed is that the motors bad or the safty switch is misalighned or defective. I would go to http://www.repairclinic.com and ask there parts specialist before you buy. Good Luck
Hello Dan, thank you for your post!
I understand that the bottom drawer of your Electrolux range will not close and it partially open. It is possible that your rail or drawer may be damaged or blocked. I would recommend pulling the drawer out to inspect it. If you pull the drawer out there should be tabs on the side to unlock in order to remove the drawer fully. The model number you have provided is invalid you can locate the model number on the serial tag. The serial tag can be found on the frame of the drawer. I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

I have a similar problem when I went to do the self cleaning cycle on my frigidare range the door was opened and then the lock engaged. Now I cannot close the door. I unplugged and let set over night and the lock light is still flashing and I am still unable to close the oven door.
