Also check the defrost timer on most models, if this is the case, also check the defrost coil for damage I/E melted outer shell or complete brakes. that was what had happened with my fridgedair frs26ZSHB5 (most frs models are the same). good luck. hope this helps (PS, the defrost timer should be found in the controls diagram/blueprint)

The clicking noise like clock coming from refrigerator.--------- If your refrigerator unit is working and still you hear this noise then .First inspect from which section you are getting this noise.--------- The most common location for this noise is from start up capacitor beside the compressor. This capacitor gives power to compressor to get started. When this capacitor fails, it makes ticking noise. The compressor is located towards the back bottom. So hear the noise, is it coming from beside the compressor.IF yes, then capacitor needs to be replaced. Its not very hard to replace this capacitor and its also not a costly part.----------- But if you are not hearing the noise from that section, then other most possible location for this noise is from fan in freezer section. In the freezer section inner panel there is fan. When the ice gets collected on the evaporator coil.Sometimes when over ice gets collected, the fan blade hits the ice and you get some noise. So inspect, if you are getting noise from inner freezer section, and is the noise coming from fan hitting the ice.--------- Then in that case , there is nothing to replace, just defrost your refrigerator, by unplugging it from wall outlet for couple of hours, then reconnect. All ice will melt, and the noise will not come.-------------- But again, if the noise is not coming from that section also, then other possibility is noise coming from mother board.this board has to be replaced.-------- There are relays and IC on the board. When this components gets weak, they make this clicking noise, this noise is indication to replace the board.-------- Te board is a costly part to be replaced. Also the components on the board are mostly not replaceable.-------- Complete board needs to be replaced.---------- -------------- This are the most common places from where this ticking noise can come. And the mentioned parts should be inspected and replaced, as per the troubleshooting and checking done.---------

You can get required parts from from online sites like: --- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site. --------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Alarm clock radio feature

Before you do anything else, Cancel the Timer setting, which is activating the machine to start Playing in the afternoon. You will need the machine's Remote for this. On the Remote, Press TIMER repeatedly, while pressing SHIFT, till the Clock Symbol disappears from the Front Display. Now if you have to reset the Timer to play the machine at a different time - early morning, as you desire, follow these steps. First You have to make sure that the clock is set to the correct Time.Is it? Fine. If it is not, read trhe Owner's Manual and set it to the correct Time. Take note that you mark the AM or PM funtion properly. After the time is set correctly, You gotta set the clock to Switch On the set at a designated time in the morning. Follow the "Setting the Timer" instructions in the Manual to do so. Please do make the effort. I am here to help you, but I also do not encourage spoon feeding. You havta to some work yourself too. If you are still unable to do so, mail me at [email protected], and I shall send you step - by - step instructions Good Luck!
