Could be 3 things.
1. a piece of crud has gotten stuck in the valve somewhere (or even in the shutoff below). If you have older pipes or water that has bit of scale in it it could be that. These can be easy hard to remove.
2. mechanical failure in faucet, the lever moves but the valve inside is not moving or has come apart in some way
3. you might have floodsafe hoses going to the sink. these have a shut off to stop the flow if they break.
If no water at all is coming out of either hot or cold, then try removing one of the supply lines, shut both hot & cold off first and then disconnect one from the sink, see if water comes out when you turn on the shutoff
it may be a floodsafe connector HERE is the webpage to show what they look like and how to reset them. if you do not and still no water comes out try working the shutoff a few times. be ready with a bucket and towels.
if you have water to the faucet, then the problem is there. If you installed it yourself you can go back and begin to dismantle it. make sure the water is shut off. take the handle off and see if it is connected to the valve itself. if a part is not obviously broken you can disassemble it further, but I would really recommend taking it back and getting a replacement. you should be well within the warranty period.
if there is a little bit of water coming out try unscrewing the aerator. the last thing the water goes through, it generally just unscrews with hand pressure. often this part gets gunked up. remember which part went where and which way it faced.
hope this helps

I was able to ascertain that the water was getting to the spryer head. Then I cleared some deposits in the spryer. I have water back running, however, the flow is somewhat limited. If you have any other thoughts on clearing the sryer head I would appreciate it but i at least have some water back working in the sink. Much better then when I started this morning.
