After install Norton 360 2, I can right click in any file in Explorer Plus: program "hangs". In Symantec support I can find a patch for solve this in PowerDesk, but not in Explorer Plus...
Thanks!
I think you can fix the issue through the free upgrade
please go to www.norton.com/n360s_4
download and install Norton 360 version 4.0
run live update, run full system scan also click on setting ----> firewall --------> program rule find internet Explorer and click on allow.
restart the system
type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll in run window and enter
restart he computer
I have Norton 360 4.1 and Novatix Explorer Plus 6.2 and right-click context menus caused crashes after installing Norton 360. I followed all the directions above but the problem persists. I then searched for, downloaded, installed and ran Nirsoft ShellExView http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.ht... and was able to isolate the offending shell extension. It was the "ExplorerPlus ZIP Extension" lines. There will be two next to each other that act together. Once disabled I no longer had the Explorer Plus context menu add-ons but the crashes stopped. ~DWK

What is the only thing that you have to do is just go head clear the temporary internet files and temporary files and run the disk cleanup
after that please go ahead and run the liveupdate it will get the patch file from the symantec server

When using ExplorerPlus, if I right click a folder or file, ExplorerPlus hangs then crashes.
I too have the same problem but did not link it with Norton 360 but now that I think of it, that is about the time it started.
