BIOS password is stored in c-mos battrey...A small battery in the motherboard.....if u take out the battery and put it again.....The password will b lost....and then it won't ask for bios password...
If it is the windows log in,you need to download password recovery software,or use the recover disk(your friend should have it) If it is the bios password you will need to mail it off for repair.
then for bios password try to remove the cmos battry for while then put it back for some systems the password may not go off. in that case, the password is stored in a chip the 24co2 ic which i can not locate the actual position. thank u
n plz tell me the extend uv gone if this helps.
bye
If you know the password, enter the BIOs. At start up you should see that option briefly displayed. It will prompt you for the password. Once its entered, you can do what ever you'd like.
There are "three different password groups" on your machine. POP, HDP, and SVP (Power on, Hrd drive, Supervisor). If you don't know "either the HDP or especially the POP", there is nothing you can do except buy an new MB or HD. There is not short cuts.
Hopefully you have the passwords and you'll be OK.
