My moniter is burning inside. i smell something burning inside my moniter after a long run.and now, the moniter colour is changing(red to black,green to yellow). i wonder what is burning inside hope someone teach me how to open the moniter cover.thank you
See on the top of cover where have two hole,leave monitor on it face, unwrap two vit on it back . you can use a small knight to push on it strongly and slowly keep going untill you hear a sound it leaf connect lock on cover monitor. do again with other hole
It sounds like you have a real fire going on in there, unplug the thing If you haven't already, and If that doesn't stop the flames - its been some days since you asked so now either the house is in ruins or you poured a bucket on it. If you're asking how to open the cover, then I'd advice against it at all. The voltages CRTs store can kill. If you think theres hope to the thing, take it to a lab. Good luck
