SOURCE: how do I create playlists for iriver H320
Hi,
I too wanted playlist and found it out for v 1.25 K. I am not 100% sure about playlists for version 1.30E sorry, but you can try.
This is how I make playlists. Plug your iriver into your computer. Make a folder on your iriver, call it whatever you want. I called mine playlists.
Create a textfile in the folder, call it whatever you want and give it the extension the same as winamp gives. I think it is .m3u? Maybe .m3p? Anyway, find that out.
Open the file in notepad and put the path to the song. eg:
\music\rock\linkin park\numb.mp3
Add as many as you want one under the other. And make as many playlists as you want. Then unplug your iriver and let it rebuild. In music mode, you have to not be playing a song, so stop any music, then just press the A-B button and a list of the playlists should appear. Select one and away you go. If the press A-B does not work, try holding it. I can't remember as i havn't used mine for a bit.
Sorry I can't be most specific about your version. Or the extension of the file, I wrote a program myself to do the work for me. Check to see if it works for you, if you want a copy of the program I can send it to you. it is in .Net 2 so you will need the the framework installed.

I just figured out how you clear the songs from the "playlist to go". go to playlist to go, then when it shows the songs you have added press the up button and you will see the words "clear playlist to go", press the forward button and it will ask you to clear it or cancel, select clear and it will tell you it's cleared.

One more solution, if the ones above do not work for you: (1) Open the x20 (internal drive: click) in Windows Explorer, (2) Save all of your music into folders (playlists) create in MyMusic (under MyDocuments), (3) highlight all of the folders you created (use the control key), (4) drag all of the folders onto the x20 into the internal drive of x20, (5) Find and play the folders under 'Browse" on the x20.
You have playlists. You just have to 'Browse' the x20 to find them--not 'Playlists'.

Hey guys,
I had a similiar problem. Apparently when you download music from limewire etc. and upload the music to your iriver, you can upload viruses also. Limewire is very dodgy for this. I'd say delete those songs that are freezing from your player and computer, they may be infected and causing the freeze.
