Question about Dell Inspiron 1200 14.1 XGA LCD Display-320-4222 (3204222) CD-ROM Drive
How do i take the broken lcd off and put a new one on
The screen fades to black?
Can you still see the image on the screen as if it was not back lit?
(If you shine a flashlight at it can you see the windows desktop?)
If so then the problem is the inverter (or possibly the backlight)
but most likely the inverter. Buy one off ebay and search the internet for a DIY (do it yourself) guide for installation.
If the screen does display for a moment then goes only black is probly still the inverter
