Please help, my tray door popped open after two red lights shut down my 360 console and won't close. I finally closed it manually and when I turned it back on the center green light was blinking and the screen says "Opening" on the dashboard. I eventually opened it manually with a paper clip to get the disk out and after it was opened all the way the center green light quit blinking after I pressed the eject button and the dashboard says "Closing". My Warranty is out since April 2008 and I'm ready to pop this thing open, so Please help!

You may need a new drive, but I doubt it. After you get the Xbox open, peel off the silver tape thats on the bottom front of the DVD player, unplug the 2 connections, and lift it out. Turn the player upside down and remove the 4 screws, flip it back over and make sure that the try is lined up correctly with the mechinism.
