Question about Sampo Televison & Video
Typically the symptoms you describe can be either poor connection of the connectors and cables or some parts that are starting to break down because of heat. If the set is no longer under warranty, start with opening up the back and reseating all of the cables and connectors. Be careful with the flat ribbon cables coming from the panel itself. Update this with your results. If needed, we can look further.

Change ur pIF you are saying that every thing is connected properly check your video cable it could be bad use a new one if that does not rectify your problem it is time to call in the tech you could be having problem in your video circuit but you did not mention if the screen light up with no picture but with sound or it does not light up blank with sound.however there could be two things 1 if the screen lightup with normal sound it could be a leaky ,open, or shorted, transistor or ic in the IF circuit.2 If the screen does not light up and has normal sound it could be a defective horizontal stage.so it is time you take the set to a tech for repairs.good luck.

Did you try to unplug the TV from the power outlet for about half day to let it reset itself and also to cool down the unit, and that should do the trick for this problem..
Hope that helps............

You can try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works.. this not work check the cable try yo use another pair of cables ,even this did solve your problem then you need contact the company if under warranty ,if its out of warranty then you need get service from local TV repair center....
Good luck..
