Question about Nokia E63 Cell Phone

1 Answer

My Nokia E63 won't turn on after a message appeared while opening a text reading, 'Message memory full; please close applications and try again'. When i try to turn the phone on, the backlight is shown and the centre button lights up, but that is all that happens. I have tried factory reset (3, *, green call button and switching on) but it hasn't worked, it has just stayed at the screen with a backlight and the centre button lit up. I can't take and can't afford to take it to a Nokia Service Point or anywhere to get it properly fixed.

My nokia E63 won't send text messages. It will receive them, make calls and receive calls.

First check all the message setting i.e 1.Center number should start with prefix +........Character support it should be "Full" and the "Message sent as" should be "Text".If all these settings are correct the only way to solve is to contact / call the particular customer care.Good luck.

There is some problem in your message setting number, please verify with your operator if its correct. As messages are being saved in outbox; that means that message are not being sent. Please do ask if you have any other query. Have a nice day!

Hi ! Every time I try to send a text message, it appears Memory full! Close some applications and try again.I did erase my pics as well as those file saved in my memory card, but it still hopeless. It's 3...

Go your message setting. There is option where you'll save your message and choose save to memory card.
Delete all message in inbox and outbox folder, delete all cache in your browser and close all active applications. Try to send text message.
If the notification "Memory full" still appear you must uninstall a one or more application (not just close it but uninstall it) to make some space in your phone memory. Choose application that you don't use the most.
If the problem persist, format your phone back to factory setting.

Hope this help and if helpful RATE please.

I keep having an error come up saying Messaging: Memory full close some applications. I have also had an error saying General: Memory full close some applications. I have no applications open can you...

clear your browser cache as well

set your messages in messaging - options- settings - other to 999 and e memory.

restore factory settings *#7780# default code is 12345 that might just might help you a bit and turn off and on your phone when you do all these things see if it helps any.

“Memory Full…Close some applications and try again” is a normal
message that usually comes on Nokia N70. It showed the memory used in the phone doesn’t have space anymore. But if the message still appears although the user already closed some applications it can be theproblem.
Someone who experience in this memory full problem said, an error message of memory full like above is appears each time he’s opened the
Camera. It also happens for a few times when he’s trying to open
messages, Gallery, or other applications. And then it will force to restart the phone.
Seems like it’s a RAM problem and might there are some applications unable to close completely. If your Nokia N70 phone has gone a start
menu button you can try to hold it down. This way will show you
everything that you have open and they can be closed easily so that
you can continue to take your photos.
So if it can resolve the problem you can reset/format by pressing *#7370#
