Actually my tv model was KV-20520 i saw it labeled at the back panel, my problem is it won't power on, i already check the fuse but it wasn't blown. i can't figure out what seems to be the problem, i can't take it to the repair shop because most of the repair shop here doesn't tell what the real problem is. they just repair and charge you a lot for parts replace & services. but the truth is they don't replace anything.
i hope you guys can help me, thanks & more power.

Re: sony kv series
C ant find a manual or even that # KV20520 but there is a KV20v80 and is available from sam photo fact and is downloadable too at a cost of $22.00. The biggest problem that plaguesmost sonys are the regulator IC in the power supply the horizontal output transistor and the flyback or the cold solder joints on the horizontal driver trans former. Your gonna need to do some static checks in the tv to see if you can find something open or shorted as your not going to be able to "look and see" something bad.if you ubnderstand TV technology then go for it BUT if you dont you can be seriously killed if you touch the wrong thing. Good Luck

Count the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON. These blinks are fault indications. After counting it, check this link for more details. There are details about Sony blinking codes. Search the site by brand name and model number to your TV in its search box.
Check the input fuse first. If it is blown, there will be some short inside the power regulator circuit. Usually Sony sets uses STR regulated power supply. You can see this STR, and Ic, screwed onto a heatsink. Replace it with a same type and number. Before replacing the STR, check the diodes used in that section for damage, mainlu zener diodes. They might get shorted along the blowing of the STR. Check that section throughly before resoldering the new STR.

If your plug points are getting power, then follow as listed below.
Open the back cover carefully. identify the screws with a torch light, remove them. You may have to remove two screws holding the audio video socket panel. This is in the back panel. TV weight is on the front side. Hence guard it. By chance by applying pressure on the screw driver it may fall off!!
Follow the power wire and check the fuse. It may have a small cover where the fuse is secured. Remove the cover and take the fuse out. Just view fuse in light. If the wires are parted apart, replace it. same type and rating.
