News ticker off bottom of screen, how to adjust?

I have a JVC AV-29VS24 television and the problem I'm having is that whenever I watch news shows, which is often, 3/4s of the news ticker is off of the bottom of the screen and I've read the entire user's manual and there's no fix. Can someone please help. Thanks in advance!

Thanks TechMan, I think I'll take it to a professional. Its just that the darn TV is so heavy! Much appreciated.

Sounds like its stretched out just a bit. Do you feel comfortable with messing around inside where theres 100s of volts??? if you do then in the vert curcuit theres a small control called the vert height control right on the printed curcuit board. adjust it slightly so you can see that full pic but not the black partm of the pic. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND thaT if you have no experience with this then leave it to a pro as afterv all they will charge you a minumum beanch charge to adjust the set for you Im sure as it is a minor thing to do. good Luck

Connection to Dish service

Your t.v is having only RFin , and if you connecting dish receiver , normaly their are two o/p for receiver one is RF and two is for audio out and video out. if your connecting direct RFout to t.v RF in then you have to tune the t.v in all bands. if your receiver do not having RFout facility, then you have to connect AV out to converter and then RFin of t.v. if you having a vcr, then connect AVout of dish receiver to vcr AVin and then vcr RFout to t.v again tune the t.v and pwer on the vcr.
