Can you pull the minute meter and rotate it on either direction? (clockwise / counterclockwise). Sometimes its stuck if the device was stored in a cold temperature. Otherwise you may go back from where you bought it for assistance..

How to set the time on a Dakota one button watch

To set the time on a Dakota one button watch, you will need to follow the instructions in the user manual that came with the watch. If you do not have the user manual, you can try the following steps:
  1. Press and hold the button on the top right side of the watch: Press and hold the button until the time display appears.
  2. Set the time: Use the button to set the time. The specific sequence for setting the time will depend on the make and model of your watch.
  3. Exit the time setting mode: Once the time is set, you will need to exit the time setting mode. The specific steps for exiting the time setting mode will depend on the make and model of your watch.
It is important to note that the steps for setting the time on a Dakota one button watch may vary depending on the specific make and model of the watch. If you are unable to set the time using the steps above, it is recommended to refer to the user manual or contact Dakota customer support for assistance.
If you have a "his and hers" set of Dakota watches, the steps for setting the time on both watches should be the same. You can use the steps above to set the time on both watches.

What do you do if the two set buttons on the Dakota Radio-controlled Atomic Watch do not work properly after battery replacement?

Purchase some contact cleaner either online or at an electronics store. Remove the back from the watch and then drip the contact cleaner onto the contact side of the set buttons inside the watch. Then depress the set buttons repeatedly to work in the solution. You may have to repeat a few times. By cleaning the contacts it is likely the set buttons will work again.

I purchased a Nat. Geo. Dakota watch in past fall..It was impossible to set. Paid a watch shop to set it....now it won't change to daylight savings time...nor will it change time zones when I travel....

When changing time zones, your watch must be manually set for the new time zone you will be entering. This watch is not designed to adjust for new time zones automatically. Instructions for changing time zones can be changed using the directions found on pages 2-4 in your instruction manual. When changing to and from DST, your watch should automatically adjust for this difference with the next 24 hours after the change. If your watch has not adjusted, you may be in an area that is not receiving signal. Check if your watch has received signal by using the directions found on page 1 of your instruction manual. If your watch has received signal in the past and no longer is receiving signal, your watch may need to be serviced or exchanged. Please contact Dakota Watch Company Customer Service by email at [email protected], or by phone at 1-888-459-0404.
