My T- Outliner Andis Clippers won't cut as sharp and they are brand new. How do I adjust the blades?

On the Andis T-Outliner trimmer if the sharpness of the blade is worn out, all the tricks and treats won't make this blade to cut hair. Before I do any kind of work to the trimmer, I first test the coil for the right amount power, I can get out of the coil, without this power, it doesn't matter how new or old the trimmer is, the trimmer will not cut hair at all. If the coil is good, I will sharpen the blade and set it according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) after the blade is sharpened and set. Sometimes the new blades are not sharpen enough, You need to have it resharpen by a professional and adjust to the type of work you want it to do. Also sometimes even if you have the blade resharpen it will not cut, because the trimmer motor needs more power to move the blade side to side faster. Take blades off clipper,loosen screws on blade, place on mirror, rest teeth against mirror, angle clipper at 1 oclock position, slowly titen screws

You probably need a new blade drive, which is easily replaced yourself, if you are so inclined.

YOU HAVE TO OPEN DEM UP. TAKE OUT THE SCREWS ON THE TOP DEN TAKE OFF THE BLADE. ONCE YOU HAVE THE BLADE OUT THERE ARE TWO MORE LIL SCREWS UNSCREW THOSE (NOT ALL THE WAY OFF, JUST ENOUGH SO THAT THE BLADE WILL MOVE) ADJUST THE BLADE HOWEVER YOU WANT. IF YOU WANT IT CLOSE FOR A MORE DETAILED CLOSE LINE (NOT TO CLOSE AS DEY WILL CUT YOUR OR THE CLIENTS SKIN). YOU MUST TRY THEM OUT ON YOURSELF SEE IF THEY ARE TOO SHARP, IF THEY ARE TAKE THEM OFF AND ADJUST THEM AGAIN. EASIEST THING TOO DO IS USE A MIRROR, HOLD THE BLADE AGAINST THE MIRROR DEN MOVE IT AT AN 45 ANGLE DEN TIGHTEN THE SCREWS DER (BARBER TRICK).

The problem with Andis clippers is that you are not told how to get the most effective job out of you're clippers,i can attest to that because i've repaired and adjusted hundreds of them,every user wants a crisp cut,nothing less, you want find the answer to that in the instructions,so you're encouraged to send the clipper back to Andis company,i did that once just to see if they really understand their own tool,the clipper cut no better upon it's return,it was then that i discoverer the ultimate solution,blades has to be precise,only then will you get a crisp cut,for any type of hair ,so before you get rid of blades,remember 85% of the time the problem is with the adjustment of the blade.
