Throw the ******* thing away,, it wont work, ive tried everything
Uh well over the past 9 months I have had 5 Dares. The problem to fix the message sent screen is you have to have it set to where the messages don't save to your sent, that's the only way how. I keep all of my pictures, sounds, and videos on my memory card, but it doesn't help it any. It always randomly resets itself and takes about 3 minutes to turn on. Every one that I've had broke because there's always a last time that when it resets itself, it never turns back on and just stays on the Verizon Wireless screen. I'm so tired of this phone IT SUCKS.
Ive had the dare for 6 months and it constantly freezes up. i have like 400 something pictures on it but i dont think thats the problem as to why is freezes. try deleting some of your memory, maybe that could make it stop freezing. (: hope i helped.
I have had the dare for about 6 months and it freezes ALL THE TIME. it get's very aggravating. i was told to turn it off at least one time every day, because it has so many apps on it that it has to have a rest. i think that they need to do something about the software! i have the same problems as most of you do, with the sending picture messages and when i try to get on the web.

I just got my dare two days ago and it already froze
everytime mine gets an email alert it freezes.
I have the same problem. I called my phone company for tech support. They told me to take the battery out while the phone is on, wait for a while, then insert the battery in again...THIS DID NOT WORK...so now I have to take my phone in to the store for a new one...My phone is 19 days old!!!!!!!
I have the same problem. When buttons are pressed it does vibrate (acknowledges that you pressed the button) but nothing happens. Have to turn it off and on again (with the main switch). I haven't had to take the batteries out yet. This is only 2wks old. Has happened twice now in the last couple of days.
Mines keeps freezing also ALONG with restarting at random times e.g: Texting, browsing, IMing, Music Player. I Have a bag feeling about it and mines is only 1 week old and it froze about 5 times and restarted more then 10 I'm gonna exchange and get a new DARE it is possible its just the phone so try just getting a new phone.
I'm going to the verizon store. I love my phone and I haven't been able to text for 2 days. I feel like crying. =[[
But I got mine August 20th.
Mine won't even turn on. It just shows a Verizon screen. ugh.
Thinking about it makes my stomach hurt like right before you take an exam. Ha.

Its crazy when I hear all of you guys describe your problems Im getting a new phone good thing I have a protection plan my phone is 2months young I think its has something to do with LG the company

i Have the Same Problem my phone the LG Dare is only 1 DAY OLD!! and i walked in to the room that it was in and the screen was just at the White LG sign, and it wont even let me turn it off and when i tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in nothing changes... and it really ticks me off seeing as the phone is so new!
yea this was my second dare in 4 days!! the first one froze after only 7 hours of having it so i got a new one yesterday and around 9:00 this one froze!! i am so sick of it, i dont even want to get a new one of these phones cause as far as i know, it's only going to happen again on the one i get tomorrow. but now we are on a 3 year plan so i cant change!
I don't know what's wrong with my dare!
It starting restarting itself last night, and restarted maybe 4 or 5 times whenever I was going to check a text,
then today it restarted probably like fifteen times, then stopped for a good few hours, then started restarted AGAIN. it seems to happen mostly when I'm going to check a text message.
I think i'm going to the Verizon store this weekend to see what's wrong with it..
I've had it since maybe September, and I do have insurance on it. Maybe I will just get a Blackberry Storm and see how much it will cost me to do that.

I've had my phone for eight months and it's frozen twice. It reboots itself all the time after scanning thru text messages. I'm getting angry. I was sending pictures to a friend and it froze on my picture I was sending. No vibration is working. The last time this happened I had to wait for the batteries to die. Getting pretty tired of it.
My problem with the LG Dare is i left it in my pocket for about 2 hours and i pull it out and it is frozen on the loading window for the apps not with a logo on it or anything but it's just blank , all i do is pull out the battery and put it back in. I have only had it for about a week and it has froze 5 times. I think it's a software problem, But people all we can do is all email LG With the complaint and hopefully they bring out a software update.

Same problem I had with mine.
my dare freezes all the time it freezes when im erasing photos and espically when i have just sent a message it stays on the message sent thing for like three minutes. it also freezes when i am trying to send a photo and i press send it freezes. it also turns off when ever it feels like it and sometimes it wont even let me unlock it. espically if someone is calling it is even worse.
