My 52 in.rca rear projection hdtv tv . i have a hard time turning it on. i keep pushing the power on the remote and tv it will come on and turn off 3 times. i stuggle with it for about ten minutes. then it will come on. but i notice when the tv been on for awhile that when you turn it of it come right back on. is it a sensor?

No its most likely failed power caps CP150, CP120 and CP114 capacitors on the deflection board are the usual cause of that symptom. You can get the RCA repair kit by the same name from www.tvrepairworld.com under the RCA repair kits category.

My 52 rca hdtv takes a while to turn on.. I push the power button a view times to turn on. sometimes it takes 20-30min to turn on. whats wrong with the tv, and is this an easy fix..

Depending on the model of the TV some projection TVs have a soldering problem. There could be a short on the Main Power Supply. It maybe necessary for a professional to do this work if you don't have the tools or if is not soldering issue.

Trying installing a new power supply. This is the main problem with tv's with the issue. But if you just bought it I would try to get my money back from where I bought it from. Installing a power supply for a tv is not that hard at all.

Liz, yes it is a power supply problem, better question is; low voltage or high voltage power supply ? count the blink code, it should repeat the code, once you have the code call your local tv shops and give them the model number of your tv and the blink amount and they`ll tell you price to fix, gl, video-tek

Tv wont turn on blinks 9 times then 1 time

I was inform that it could be a sensor (bad diode), you have to get a multimeter tester and test the diodes and if current flows from both sides then replace that diode.
