The problem is in the power supply board. The power supply board has the 110 volt AC cord attached to.On this power supply, there is a shorted diode. The location is D621. It is next to the red, black and white wires attached to the inverter board. Snip one end of the diode and lift it to clear the board. Do not replace this diode, the TV will operate with out it. Replace your AC fuse (4amp gma fuse). Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

Thank you Matt Martin for your valuable expertise. I did exactly what you said and my tv now works. Before I saw your post I tried to deal directly with Phillips and that was an absolute joke.

SOURCE: where is My Philips 32pfl3505d f7 LCD TV fuses

I assume you are referring to the ac fuse, it is located on the power supply board. Just follow the ac power cord and it should lead you to it. If your set doesn't have a built in power cord, the fuse will be next to the power cord connector.

I have a Philips 32PFL3505D/F7. This is an unusual circumstance, but when I got the TV it was not working. It had no power coming to the TV and the reason I know that is because when I plugged it up and...

not an expert on this but be careful of power boards as the source voltage rating. If you purchased say an USA it would be 120V and if your power is 240 V then power board replacement will blow up.
check the voltages coming out of the power circuit board to the various tv . Check you tube as there are some good videos on what sort of voltages come out of the power board. One of my previous postings yesterday has a video you tube link that explains voltages on a different model tv.

Philips 32pfl3505d/f7 tv wont turn on. The answer given says to snip one end of diode 621 but there is no d621 in the place marked. What else can I do?

Contact the authorized service center for Philips. If the TV doesn't turn ON, the most probable cause is with its main digital board. Replacing this board is a very skilled work, as it always need a firmware update. Firmware update procedure to Philips is rather more difficult than other brands; and not easly done by normal user. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Philips 32PFL3505D/F7 32-Inch LCD HDTV keeps turning off when I turn it on

You have a shorted Diode in the power supply board. The power supply board has a 110 volt AC cord attached to it. Locate diode D621. It will be near the red, black and white wires attached to the inverter board. Snip this diode on one end and lift it just to clear the board. You may cut the other end and remove (don't have to). Do not try to tear the diode out or you will destroy the board. The TV will operate fine without this diode. Replace your ac fuse (4 AMP, GMA fast blow fuse ). You just repaired your TV. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV.

I have a Phillips LCD tv model# 32pfl3505d/f7 after about an be it shuts off by itself. Can u help me please

Hello; there is some confusion with your model # and symptom ! A model# 32pfl3505d/f7 is a 32" LCD TV not a 27" After WHAT does it shut off? This seems very similar to a set I just repaired. My customer's set was a mode l# 32pfl3514d/f7, which may be same or similar to this one. Here is what happened ; The set would run for about an hour and shut off and come back on repeatedly. The problem was a bad digital board ( the one on the lower left side with all the jacks as you face the back of the set ). I found this $150 board on EBAY for $33. He still has about 30 of these boards. You probably have the same set and same problem. John
