I have purchsaed a pen drive/mp3 player of 512 MB capacity. After a certain time it show capacity of 119 MB only. It show 2048 bytes in each allocation unit & 61240 totol units with no bad sactor. Please advise how to I attain origial Memory wich was 8192 bytes in each allocation unit & 63781 totol units.
I had the same problem. You can just format the drive and the problem will be resolved.

Even removable drive formatted and scandisk it shows memory 119 MB againts 512 MB. It show 2048 bytes in each allocation unit & 61240 total units with no bad sector

When you hook it up to the puter, go into My computer right click on the removable drive then click on explore disc and see what oter types of files are taking up the extra memory as if there are none then the drive has bad memory cells.

Try voidMP3FM from www.drvoid.com I have a NW-E005 but the web site says the program supports the NW-E002 as well. Have used this program from day one and have never loaded sonic stage. Heard lots of complaints about it. Hope this helps.
