LG Intellowasher cannot complete spin cycle.

My LG Intellowasher 7kg front loader (model: WM1285FHD) seems to keep getting stuck with 3min left of the washing cycle on the final spin. I am not sure if it is a compute problem or a draining problem. I have had a repair man out that has not fixed the problem. Help!! JENNY

Unplug power cable, remove top cover and inner panel, locate water level sensor on the right with 3 wires and a thin tube, remove the tube and puff into it until you hear water bubbling. This will clear any blockage caused by suds build up. Replace tube, covers and plug back in. It should complete cycles now.

Cheers milcaau, you were spot on, our pipe was well and truly blocked, as you said blowing down the pipe cleared the fault and we were soon up and running.

My LG front loader will not drain and is displaying OE

Had the same problem and it turned out to be debris in the thin pipe from the drainage are below the drum up to the front panel. This pipe I think is used to detect whether all the water has been pumped out of the drum. If it thinks there is still water in the drum then it stops at 3 minutes and continues to try to pump the drum dry.

I have an lg tromm front load washer. I am getting the IE fault. I have cleaned the inlet screens and drain filter. It gets stuck at the 13 min mark, seems like it just won't go to spin cycle.

LE code mean suds have built up. Using non he (High Efficiency) detergent or too much detergent will cause this error most front loaders use he detergent only there is a he swirl on the container
Let your washer sit idle or 45 minutes.Unplg washer as well
Plug in and turn on as left spin speed select no spin press Start/pause to start a drain only cycle. When cycle is complete remove load. Start a rinse•spin cycle to clean out residue.
If the sud were too much you may have to repeat

I have a lg intellowasher 7kg wd-8015c (front loader), and its not spinning and the clothes come out wet. whats wrong and what parts will i need please

If the washer is not spinning you need to check on the motor, motor capacitor and the power from the program controller unit. If there is no power to the motor then the controller is a suspect.
Please check this link for tips: removing the motor:

LG Intellowasher 7kg, Model WD-8074FHB - noisy spin cycle

You are right!

Bearings have to be replaced. Replace with the same type and design. All the bearings connected to the washer center shaft has to be replaced at the same time with new set.

Replace the water seals also connected to this. Check the shaft where the bearing sits, for any abrasions or metal damage.

Check the bearing housing also. While carrying out these repairs check the drive belt also. If needed replace it.

If you are happy with the machine outer body and other aspects repair it and re-use it.

Is there a filter in the LG INTELLOWASHER 7kg. If so where is it. The model is WD-8074FHB

its located on the bottom right of the machine front - open the flap and you will see a round filter base. ONLY OPEN THE filter during the last of the spin cycle to clean it, this is when most of the water has been pumped away. Opening it while the machine is off will cause a gush of water over the laundry floor.

Do not think this is the problem. Make sure pumping out properly,,Could also be motor brushes if its an older machine...

LG front Loader Intellowasher 7kg WD-8015c has been on a quick 30 mins cyle and is still going after 1 hours just keeps spinning and won't turn off

I have the EXACT same problem wit the LG 8015C. After numerous attempts, I finally found the problem. A set of wires attached to the drum body vibrates against th erear panel, wears off the plastic insulation, shorts and blows the circuit board. All because of sloppy workmanship ! It took 4 years of easy work for this to occur. Will NEVER buy an LG or Front Loader again
