If it is a cordless microphone, there may be cell in it. pls find & replace it. if microphone is connected via wires, may be wire is open. try to check the wire with a resistence tester. if found defective, replace the wire.

What is the purpose of the microphone in the dirt duct tube

Hoover uses a small microphone that is positioned in the plastic housing that the end of the hose fits into, just behind the bag compartment. What happens is that when dirt comes up the hose and hits the 90 degree corner, just before it enters the bag, the microphone picks up the sound and transmits that info to the electonics that controls the lights. Sometimes the microphone will stick and the red light will stay lit. If you take a screwdriver and give the microphone area a sharp tap with the handle of the screwdriver, this will often jar the microphone and it will begin working again. If not, it may need to be replaced. NOTE: this function does not affect the cleaning efficiency of the vacuum. Your vacuum will still work normally whether the dirt sensor is working or not. It is a totally unrelated function to the vacuum itself.

Hello so i got a new c-1 and about 2 weeks ago i havent been able the use it, i have a mobile pre m audio , but the red light on the c-1 wont turn on and no sound goes through . helpp :c

The C-1 is a condenser microphone, which means that it requires phantom power in order to function. Most M-Audio products will provide phantom power, so it would just be a matter of pressing the button or switch (it might be marked +48 or +48v). If your M-Audio device doesn't have such a button or switch, you'll need to upgrade to a preamp that does in order to use that mic. If you do turn it on and it still doesn't work, there's something wrong with either the cable or the microphone itself.

Can I connect the Rode NT2 to sound mixer

Yes. You'll need to engage phantom power for it to function.

I have set-up M-Audio microphone recently but I can't seem to figure out HOW to begin using it. I've tried every drop down and clicked every recording button while I was using the software. . . is there...

Without knowing your setup or the mic model, my guess is that you need to run a phantom power supply to the mic to get it to function. This is done either by using an outboard analog mixing console or mic preamp with a phantom power switch, or using an inline phantom power supply. The microphone plugs into the mixer or mic pre with the phantom turned on, and then into your DAW system.
The phantom power works with condensor microphones like the one you have. It sends a 48v signal to the microphone element, which in turn energizes the element and makes it function. Dynamic mics, like a Shure SM 58 for example, do not need the phantom power and will even ignore it if run on a phantom powered channel. condensor mics however must have it to function, otherwise there will not be any sound. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

It wont power up if plug in

Depends on the kind of microphone. Some mics use PHANTOM power, a small 24 -48volt signal that makes the microphone operate. Mics that don't need it will ignore it, but mics that do will require it to function, otherwise they will not work at all. If you have a mixer with a PHANTOM power switch, turn it on and try it, otherwise you may need to get an outside phantom power supply from a music store or pro audio shop.
Another possibility is the microphone is not the same impedance as the input you are plugging it into. You may need get a line transformer to step up the volume of the mic to work with your system. Again, check with the store. Always read your manuals too if you have one. Good Luck.

Put new battery in shure T1-CV light still says low battery

Sometimes the low battery light is also the check light (same with BOSS pedals). The wireless headset mic I have has the same problem, though. There is a small short going to that light, but it doesn't affect the sound quality or functionality of the mic.

As for fixing it, you'll have to find a schematic and pinpoint the short, or have someone else work on it.

Hope that helps!

No sound pickup

For a mic like sennheiser ME66\K6 prof.mic.you have two options.

What might cause the blinking of the light, might be the battery, cause it functions in two ways, either by battery or by phantom power that needs to be activated by +48v power phantom on your mixer before it can work properly .

So you will do is either you get a replacement of the battery on get a mixer that has +48v power phantom power.

I have problem with c-1 cause it produce high noise... i have mic800 behringer processor... can you help me with functions of this processor ... what do i have to do to connect c-1 with mic800 so i could...

Go to this site:http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MIC800.aspx#documentation Scroll down the left side to manuals. You can get one in whatever language you are most comfortable with. Here is the place for your microphone:http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/C-1.aspx Your microphone needs phantom power which is a feature on the mic800. Just remember to use a good XLR balanced microphone cable or the phantom power won't work and you could damage something. Hope this helps.

Magic-Sing EG-18000 works, no sound

look and see if the RF light is coming on, if it is not then the transmitter (mic) is not on the same frequency as the receiver.
