Frigidaire ffbc46fsls beverage center refrigerator does not resume "on" condition after power glitch. If the unit is unplugged while running, then plugged back in, it resumes normal function, but if the power is momentarily interrupted it will remain off. I have lost thousands of dollars of refrigerated items because of this.

Wow if you have lost that much because the memory dumps during a power failure then we are going to need do something serious about that! May take me a while to come up with a solution but being the case I think you have a serious point to make. Acording to The

Frigidaire FFBC46F5LS Beverage Center User Manual

and on page 7 of the PDF

The default temperature for the beverage cooler is 41°F (5°C). The temperature after power failure will be the temperature set before the power failure. So something is wrong with the control board part=> Pc board, input ,display I believe I would call USA 1-800-944-9044 and ask why that may be happening. Below is a parts list.

I have no power what so ever.. Is there a trip switch or something of that nature?

if no power to the unit, you need to check if its plugged in for one keep it simple. if yes do yo have power at the outlet easy to check with a multimeter. you can also just check the breakers in your electrical panel.. if that doesn't do it you may want to call your local refrigeration a/c tech for further assistance but check the above first

Frigidaire pld2855rfc1 PF Power Failure error

Good Afternoon Bob, thank you for your post! Typically error code PF means power failure and you should be able to resume or start a cycle after properly resetting the unit. Unplug the unit or flip the household circuit breaker. It is important to wait about ten minutes and then turn the unit on. The error code should clear, and then you should be able to select a normal cycle and the unit should resume to normal operations. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if the unit's status has changed successfully.

BeverGE COOLER KEEPS BEEPING

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

Water dispenser does not shut off

That is most likely a dual water control valve stuck open on back of refrigerator near floor. One side feeds ice maker and other side feeds the water dispenser. If the ice maker side began to leak slowly it would create quite a mess of ice flowing over ice maker and freeze every place it could inside the freezer. I purchased a 52 bottle kitchen aid wine cooler. No matter where I set the thermostat, it is always 45 degrees and readouts are sideways "T's" instead of numbers.

The beverage center and wine cellars have a temperature display for each zone. 12 volts

AC is supplied to the display board from a transformer in the unit compartment. The displays are only temperature displays and have nothing to do with any cooling function. A thermistor is used to sense temperature for each zone. The thermistor for the bottom zone is located inside the lower portion of the separator. The thermistor for the top zone on the wine cellar, (mid zone on beverage

center), is located in the upper portion of the separator. The thermistor for the beverage center upper zone is located on the inside of the 2-piece evaporator cover. It is on the right-hand side.

The mid temperature for the bottom zones on either unit are 60? Fahrenheit plus or minus 5 degrees. The mid temperature for the mid zone on the beverage center and the top zone

on the wine cellar is 45? Fahrenheit plus or minus 5 degrees. The mid temperature for the

top zone on the beverage center is 38? Fahrenheit plus or minus 5 degrees. I think at tis time you should check each section with a pocket size digital thermometer to cofirm tha the mechanical thermostat is within calibration. Click Here=> 4344690 Temperature Control

I believe the problem may be in the PCB transformer shown at the bottom right corner of the wiring diagram. It is possible o change the transformer but I have not been able to find the board that powers the LED temperature readouts. If needed let me know and I will call Whirlpool mfor you, Thanks, Sea Breeze

I have a Tenma 72-7245 DC Power Supply. When the line input power is interrupted momentarily (power glitch), the power supply does not reset and resume operation. Is there a way to change this behavior...

It is probably a 'switch mode' power supply and the glitch is causing the oscillator to hang. Other than a re-design of the circuit, I don't see a fix for the problem. You might look into a 'linear' power supply which doesn't have this difficulty. Hope this helps!

I recently purchased a Frigidaire Beverage Center and had the same constant beeping issue as strivieri. I found my problem to be the door sensor. The door sensor is located on the lower bottom right of the unit and there is a metal plate mounted on the swinging door that is suppose to push that sensor in when the door is closed. However, this was poorly designed as it fails to do its task. I had a few adhesive floor protectors laying around that I used to stick to that metal plate that gave it the extra thickness needed to push in the door sensor when closing the door.

I hope this helps anyone else there having the same issue.
