my phone nokia e72 when i conect wifi it tells invalid server name why please tell me a solving solution this problem

Hello Rick,

The invalid server error message you only receive when the phone is not able to connect with your WiFi router or WiFi Hotspot. Please check for your WiFi router or WiFi Hotspot access points settings. Also check for the password your using for secure WiFi connection.

i found this website for you, just follow the steps indicated and you can use your phone and your laptop to connect to the internet
*the settings are for nokia e72, but you can use the same settings (the difference may be is the name/options on the contorl panel settings of your nokia e5)

N97 WLAN showing "Invalid Server

try to hard reset it then try again the code is
try to reset the phone to factory settings;
Factory settings reset. Type *#7780# and the phone's lock code (Nokia default lock code is 12345). This reset restores phone's original settings.

My E72 has been hanging every 10min last 3-4 days. Also when I tried upgrading the phonbe software it stops in between. Pls help.

I think you are trying invalid settings or doing some thing wrong.,.....or you service provider is not allowing you to o this.......

I have Nokia E72, how can I connect to VOIP service in our office?

go to Tools > Settings > Connection > SIP settings
Profile name: any
Service Profile: IETF
Default Access point: select your access point
Public user name: sip:[email protected]
Use compression: No
Registration: select your preference
Use security: No
Proxy server: empty/no settings
Registrar server:
> Registrar server address: sip:voip-server.com
> Realm: asterisk
> Username: voip-ext-no.
> Password: voip-password
> Transport type: Auto
> Port: 5060

Then go back to Connection > Internet Tel.
create profile and select the SIP settings you just created.
