same issue with KXTG5633 cordless phone set. Beeping starts somewhat randomly and continues usually for est 8-10 times, sometimes the phone then works ok when it stops, sometimes not. Previous cordless phones have had similar problems. Very annoying.

SOURCE: Dropped calls when cordless phone plugged into it.

I have solved this problem several times by using a splitter at the telephone jack instead of the XDP port on the phone. The extension is programmed to share the port isn't it? That is in program 600.

SOURCE: Panasonic KX-TG2740 Cordless Phone - Can I reset handset registration

press function button on handset, scroll to initial setting, select by pressing right arrow, scroll to registration, select, select hs registration, follow directions on handset display, pressing mute on "new" base station, and ok on handset(plugged in). If you like, you can unregister with the "old" base unit first.

Just in case you don't have a manual
http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2336.PDF

Page 55 lists your trouble and gets you to page 49. You take the bandset and base, press the locator button on the base and then press the flash/recall button on the handset until Handset Registering appears on the display. If it beeps one time, wait 20 seconds and it should register. If it beeps 3 times, keep trying.

SOURCE: I have a panasonic cordless phone, model

Hi,

If you get busy tone in your Panasonic KX-TGA820 cordless phone, it may be due to any one of the following reasons:

1)The called handset is in use.

2)The handset you are calling is too far from the base unit.
Check whether the base unit is not so far from the handset

3)There is no handset registered to the base unit matching the extension number you entered.
Try to re-register the handset to the base unit again, To know details regarding registering and re-registering, please refer page 38 of the manual, which you can download from the link given below

4)Other units are in use and the system is busy. Try again later.
Try to check whether the other units are not using your base unit

You can download manual for your phone from the following link for reference

Go to Settings > SOUND > Silent mode (No sounds except media and alarms).
If this is ticked (on), it means umts smartphone alarm will sound even if you make the phone silent.
Regarding the loud sound even after reducing ringer volume, no idea for this.

Hi, I have a Panasonic Cordless phone with 2 bases. I have moved one from upstairs to the phone jacket downstairs. Our third phone worked fine until I switched two of them around. Now only the plugged...

You could plug your non-cordless phone into suspicious phone jack to see if you have dial tone-if you dont have dial tone, the line maynot be connected and you should open the jack to see if there is more than 1 cable attached. If there is more than 1 cable attached and you dont have dial tone at other end of cable the cable might be cut or shorted somewhere inbetween. You can test continuity by tying 2 wires together and test with a multimeter on resistance to see if it is open circuit or maybe even short circuit. To test for short circuit, untie the cables and you should not get a reading. If you do have dial tone when you plug in non-cordless phone the distance might be to far for receiver to pick it up(ie..greater than 10 metres). I hope this has been helpful.

When I recieve a phone call through my comcast phone, it disconnects my wireless on my Belkin

I assume you are using a Comcast modem that you plug your phone into.

Does a wired connection to your router work when you get a phone call or just wireless the wireless is cutting out? If both cut out then this problem is on Comcast's side. You can call them using 1-800-COMCAST to have them fix the issue.

If the wired connection works but wireless does not, I would guess you are using a cordless phone that is running on the same frequency your wireless router is. If this is the case, you can change your router's configurations to operate on a different frequency. This can be done by opening up your internet browser and entering the router's configuration menus by using a URL(address) of 192.168.1.1 (possibly 192.168.0.1). Once you are in the configurations, look for options for wireless frequency and change them to something else.

If this does not work, I would suggest calling Comcast because the problem more than likely resides on their end.

Using home phone causes comcast wireless internet to disconnect

Wireless internet runs at 2.4ghz. Your portable phone is probably also 2.4ghz and is knocking out your internet connection when in use. Look for an 800mhz or 5.8ghz phone as a replacement.

Panasonic 42" connected to comcast dvr, and dvd player

To solve need more info if this is still a problem.
Is your comcast dvr connected directly to the tv, and also the DVD connected directly to the TV?
If so then you will need to change the input selection on your tv remote to determine which inputs these devices are connected to.
If you are connected differently, please post how your devices are connected.
