Condensation I have a jvc gr-d70 and the "condensation operation paused" mode will not clear. The camcorder has not been exposed to any condensation. Is there a way of clearing this fault or can the dew sensor be cleaned?

If the camera becomes damp or cold and brought into a warm atmosphere damp forms in the mechanism which would cause the tape to stick and become damaged or fouled.

leave the camera to warm up for a few hours and the fault should clear.

If not the most common reason is the dew sensor has failed and needs replacing

If it has been inside your house for more than an hour & is still showing condensation, the camcorder is more than likely useless. for the price of repair, you can buy another brand of camcorder & be money ahead as even after you have it repaired the problem will shortly return.

Condensation operation paused how do I fix this?

If the camera is working correctly it's to protect the camera and tape.
The camera has detected condensation inside it's body due to a large change in temperature. eg. when you take the camera form a heated room to an external environment that is very cold.
You simply wait until the camera acclimatizes.

At view window it say please wait condensation operation paused can it be fix

Try warm air from a hair dryer over the mechanism with the cassette door open for a couple of minutes. do not over do it. The dew sensor is sending an active signal to the control cct to prevent tape damage in use.

Message appears CONDENSATION-OPERATION PAUSED

A sensor called the DEW sensor, "Thinks" that there is moisture in the camera, this may or may not be so. I suggest you open the camera up, leave it in a quite a warm place for a bit, and see if that clears it. otherwise it may be a faulty sensor, happens frequently.

Getting a message on my camcorder lcd. "condensation operation paused"

According to my Canon manuel, it occurs when condensation forms water droplets inside the camera. It also says that the camcorder will auto matically shut off. Time will vary depending on location and weather condition. General rule is 2 hours.

Jvc gr d50.. "condensation, operation paused"

Set it in a bowl of rice for a couple days or leave it out in the open air till it works again. Do not use a hair dryer or any type of pressurized air source. The rice works for cell phones that take a dip in a water source too.

Jvc gr-70u

You have to clean a sensor that one finds to the right of the engine of tape load, it is not necessary to disarm, only opens the compartment of the tape, the laod engine is a vertical cylinder like a 8 mm silver color, It is located even behind to the left side, use a special hook tool, with a cotton cover and laser clen-up solution.
