When pump runs on our spa we are getting air bubbles through the jest even though the vales are closed. Dreamaker Spa older model

id say even though you think your air induction valves are closed they in fact are not , if all the jets get air in them look for leaks in pump or piping this might be more evedent if run slow or off as pump cant suck air in hole if its off , if not air induction valves can be rebuilt by obtaining the parts from mfg

There is a leak and we can not find it. Any solutions

This may help?
Fill spa to highest level possible.
Heat to 100 degrees or higher.
Then, with your bare hand feel throughout the bottom rim and anywhere else you are able to: see if you can feel "Warm/Hot" water. Any "Cold" water is not the area of the leak, that water has "Travelled" there. The warmer the water, the closer you are to the origin.

Just purchased a used Dream Maker X400 hot tub. It holds the water during the filtration cycles but if we attempt to use the hot tub by turning on the jets there is a major leak. Is this from one of the...

Have you opened the equipment access door and looked in it while it is running. I would look at the pumps to see if one of the seals are leaking. They will leak more on high speed and if you have a cir pump that runs the filter and an additional pump for high speed jet action it would make sense why it is leaking more while you are using it.

1. Check equipment like pump, heater, blower, light fixture, for leaks.
2. Remove side panels closest to the are the leak is showing and inspect jets, plumbing in that area for leaks. If insulation is foam, remove any water saturated foam and follow it to the source of leak.

3. If the leak is in plumbing and is very slow, sometimes it can be resolved with "stop leak" products.

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

Air in the system indicated suction leaks so you will not find 'leakage'. Instead you are looking for ways air can get in before or at the pump. That section of the plumbing is under a vacuum and a leak means air gets sucked in. Common areas are the pump seal and the pump strainer cover. Plumbing connections at the pump and then finally skimmers and other plumbing connected to the suction side of the system. Do you have a lot of air in the pump strainer basket area? If so, start with the gasket that seals the lid in that area. Is there any sign of water leaking under the pump? If so, replace the pump seal. If none of these cure your issue you may need a pressure test on the suction side of your plumbing to better identify where the leak is.
