Sounds like some article of clothing got between the door glass and door boot and pulled the rubber door boot away from the front of the washer. Check and make sure the rubber boot is not torn. If it is ok you should be able to slip the lip of the door boot back onto the front of the washer, make sure you get it in the grove. Then put the wire retainer back around the boot, you may need an extra hand or two to hold it and stretch the spring back on. Hope this helps

Hello Ann Calk -Unfortunately depending on which part it is exactly since there is any adhesive available to glue it back together you need to purchase the entire door panel. I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair the window washer.

Hole in Maytag Neptune front load washer door and flaking or melting of door.

Hello,
I've owned the same Neptune since 1999 and had this problem happen to me twice, the first time the inside molded plastic door melted through in a circular pattern and had to be replaced. The fact that it was circular indicates that something was rubbing during the high speed spin. That something was a stiff bottomed duffle bag that was rubbing on the plastic door during high speed spin. The washer was full of other clothes that didn't allow the duffle bag enough room in the washer tub, hence it pressed against the plastic door. The second time it happened I got a circular groove melted in, but not through, the plastic door... caused this time by a small child's back pack. I would make sure "rigid" items have enough room to "float" in the tub cavity by not putting in other clothing that over packs the washer.

I have front loader MFW9700 Maytag washer. Water

Check the door seal for tears and the drain boot from tub to drain boot for anything that might have put a hole in like a piece of metal from an under wire bra which front loads will spin so fast that the wires come out of the bras.

Leaking water at the bottom and making load noise

Hi,
From the description of your problem, there are two possibilities.
One, water valve will have to be replaced.
Second, the area of the leak indicates a leaking drain pump.

Hope this helps.

Kenmore Washer leaks

When my husband came home he took the washer apart and it was the pump. Small pin hole leak in this glob of gray sealer that seals the two plastic parts together. Just been waiting to fail, I'm sure. Thanks for your help.

Keeps over filling and water leaking out of side and front

There is a valve mounted on the rear of the cabinet which is supposed to cut off the water flow when the water level reaches a set point. A clear plastic tube will run from the bottom of the tub to this valve. Replace the valve, reconnect the plastic tube. Should solve the problem.

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II drum does not spin.

Depending on your washing machine model, the drum and motor are connected by 2 plastice yellow circular pieces, with a black rubber washer in the middle with holes where the pegs or rods go into. The 2 plastic circular pieces have 3 pegs or rods if you will, that connect to the black rubber washer via 3 holes. Sometimes, one or both of the 2 plastic circular piece pegs get broken off or the rubber washer cracks and breaks apart, so that the motor will not turn the drum. If thats the case, you can purchase the 2 circular pieces and black washer piece as a set.

Water leaking

There is a small plastic "gate" that is left down for liquid detergent and moved back and up for powder detergent. If this piece is left down and powder detergent is used, the water leaks and the detergent won't go into the washer properly.

Maytag frontload washer door is leaking

Yes you can do it. the door boot has come off the tub opening. first you will have to push on the door boot (gray rubber)on. There is a grove that slides into the metal opening in the washer. make sure the the door boot (gray rubber)lays flat against the outer opening. then with the spring at the bottom . start at the top put the wire in the rubber grove. until you get the the spring then pull down on the spring and tuck it into the grove.. I hope this helped [lease let me know if you get it... krazytech
