Daughter called me ..car wont start. checked battery at Autozone...it is good. someone stopped to help them and bang on startere and it starts up. Bad starter. Starter replaced. Next day daughter driving car and starts running really bad and dies. She doesnt remember seeing any dash lights except right when it died. Car gets a jump, it starts up. When they remove jumper cables car goes 30 seconds then dies. Suspected bad alternator. She goes to Autozone and gets new Reman Alternator. Intstalled new Alt. . Jump car. Starts right up. Remove Jumper cables and it dies. Hmm... dead battery.?? They take battery out and go to Orielly (thats where battery was purchased..still under warranty) . They test Battery....charge it say it's good. Put charged battery in car...Starts and runs Battery light is on!! Car runs about 10 min then dies. Dead battery!!!!! Alternator is not charging still. I suspect broken wire or another bad Alternator. Are there any other possibilities???

It sounds like you have blown fuse to the Alternator.. I don't know what car you are talking about but they charging systems vary.. But if alternator isn't getting all the power it needs it won't charge. this should be checked.

good luck

Phillip is correct - Once you have the car started and running the alternator can supply enough power to run the car - however you need some power at the Alternator first to "excite" the system so it will start charging and keep the car running.
It may be blown fuse or faulty wiring - at this stage the battery and alternator don't appear to be the problem.
If you can't fix the problem yourself take it to an Auto Electrical Specialist and save a lot of heartache.

Why wont my car start

Possibly a battery cable terminal or the connection at the starter.
Sometimes a loose or faulty wire can barely work until a load is put on it then it just shuts down. Test power flow at starter before and after turning the key. Replace battery cable ends and if the problem persists, replace entire cable.

BATTERY TERMINALS GET CORROSION AND LOSE THEIR CONNECTION AND UNLESS YOU HAVE A HEAVY SET OF JUMPERS YOU WONT GET ENOUGH POWER TO START ENGINE ,TRY REMOVING BATTERY TERMINALS AND SCRAPING THEM CLEAN, IF VEHICLE THEN STARTS COVER BATTERY TERMINALS WITH GREASE TO HELP PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN

Have the batrtery tested by a parts store like Autozone, they do it for free and I am sure that that is the problem.

WHAT IS CAUSE WHEN A 1993 ACCORD DIES WHEN RUNS, THEN WONT TURN OVER

Could be the ignition control module, if the module has no heatsink compound underneath it to dissipate heat, it will burn up or stop working. See if it is hot when the vehicle does not start. It could be many other fuel or ignition related components also !
