Part number is required only if you are ordering with the company and here in this case you can specify the model number as the data base is available with them. Otherwise the flyback/ line output transformer can be removed and taken to any spares shop to be identified for the replacement.
Typically, the driver circuit is affected when the flyback transformer "dies". The most common device that fails with it is the deflection transistor/driver and associated components. Hope this helps...accordianman
Its either the flyback or a regulator. But i would need the model number of your set in order to know for sure. Please reply to this same post with your model number.
