If Windows Device Manager is giving a code 43, this means the hardware is reporting something wrong when trying to connect. I'd do the following (and also check the attatched link for reference ;-) )
Unplugging the headset, restarting the computer, then plugging the headset back in.
Make sure the USB connector on your headset (and the USB port you're putting it in) is undamaged, and not dirty.
Try connecting the headset to another USB port, and another computer to see if you're able to reproduce the issue there (if not- it may just be the USB port(s) on your computer that you're plugging the headset into that's failing.
If all else fails, it may be time to purchase a new headset ;-)
Typically, a Brother machine stops printing,
because the connection between the computer and the Brother machine is
lost. There are multiple reasons for a lost connection.
The Brother print driver is Offline.
The Brother printer driver is not set as the default printer driver.
The computer, not the monitor, connected to the Brother
machine is set to go into sleep or standby mode. When the computer
goes into sleep or standby mode, the connection between the computer
and the Brother machine is lost and needs to be re-established.
Follow the steps below in order to re-establish the connection between the Brother machine and the computer:
Verify that the Brother machine is connected with a USB cable and is not on a network.
Verify the power cord and USB cable are securely connected.
If the USB cable is loose on either end, disconnect and reconnect the
cable securely. Test the machine by trying to print. If the machine
does not print, go to STEP3.
Cycle the power of the Brother machine by unplugging the power
cord from power outlet, wait approximately one minute and plug back
in. Once the Brother machine displays the date and time after plugging
it back in, test the machine by trying to print. If the machine does
not print, to Step 4.
Reboot the computer connect to the Brother machine and then try to print again.
Try a different cable and or a different usb port. If you are connecting to the usb ports in the front of your computer, try one in the back. Many of the older computers front usb ports were never connected.
You can try this: Disconnect the usb cable and set the USB function to PC Connect then reconnect the cable to the computer. If the problem persists, try rebooting the pc. If you're still having a problem, try using another USB port. Have you considered disconnecting the MS webcam when you try to use this camera? Admittedly, there shouldn't be a conflict, but I've had some strange problems with Microsoft peripherals, so nothing is too far-fetched. Good luck!
This can happen if the device is lacking in power. Try a different USB cable. Look for a cable with ferrite cores, (cylindrical shaped objects near the ends of the cable) that is as short as you can use.
If the issue persists among multiple computers and USB ports with different cables, the Device has likely had a hardware failure. In some cases the error can be rest from within the device if it is powered by batteries. Disconnect them and wait 1 minute. Re-connect them and try again.
Uninstall all old pc cam, mars software and do a fresh installation. Restart computer. Before plugging in usb cable, push the shutter button down and hold it.Shutter is the button that takes the pictures. Now plug in usb cable. Camera should say pc cam and installation of software should start and complete. If asked about newer reference files answer yes. Software should now be installed. To use as pc cam,Dbl Click pc cam, mars icon on the desktop.New screen will appear.click on right facing triangle and another screen will open. Camera will now show on monitor what it is aimed at.To shut off, close all screens, and click on icon tray and shut usb device if necessary. To use as camera and view pictures, connect usb cable without pushing any buttons, and camera will say usb,Dbl click my computer, dbl click removable disk D,E F whichever it has been assigned, dbl click DCIM folder, and there are your pics to do waht you want with, save, print etc.Do not delete pics using the computer, delete only by camera so you do not damage files necessary to store and take pictures. If you do camera may have to be reformatted.Disconnect from pc same way by clicking usb icon in tray and stopping device, then its safe to unplug cable.
