Automatic icemaker the icemaker cycles as it should but no water is dispensed in to the icemaking tray.This is not a new installation. The unit worked correctly for about 6 years.

Have you made sure your water supply was good and a good steady flow of water is flowing in to the back orf the fridge?/ If you have then theres a small micro switch that opens a water valve at the proper moment of the cycle of the ice maker. This switch is inside the icemaker up against a small cam being driven by a small motor. The switch activates a small valve that lets the water flow into the ice maker.if the water flow is good its the switch or the valve. Good luck

I've had issues with our Samsung refrigerator icemaker, and here are some thoughts: 1) A technician told me (and replaced) an inline water heater, which sounds strange at first. But its purpose is to keep the water from freezing and clogging the line before it can go to the icemaker itself; 2) the line may be clogged due to excessive calcium deposits. Another repair tech told me if you're in "hard water" country (I am) you'll probably be replacing the line and related apparatus that goes to the back of the unit "every couple of years". The fact that your water dispenser is working rules out a clogged filter.

Ice wont come out of automatic dispenser
If there is frozen ice in the icemaker tray then the heater element to slightly warm the tray for ice ejection is not working. If there is nada in the icemaker tray then water is not getting to unit - check water solenoid or the water line going to unit.

If the thermostat behind the left side of the fill tray goes bad, the cycle will stop completely. Cost of thermostat is $20.00. Cost of new icemaker with new motor and everything including thermostat is $45.00, brand new, on EBay plus shipping. Cost for new icemaker from repair shop, $153.00 plus tax. Control board circuit panels each side of freezer compartment will go bad also stopping the ice maker cycle. these control boards come in pairs, one for each side of freezer compartment. Cost for new circuit panel control board from repair shop, $215.00. Cost from EBay brand new circuit control board $45.00 plus $8.00 shipping. Easy to install both, icemaker and control board circuit panels. Phillips screw driver and small socket set is all you need for removing and installing these items.

Automatic icemaker stopped working yesterday. No problems before that. Arm is down, no problem with water line, (water still works in dispenser) temp is fine.
there are two solenoids that control water input. One foe the dispenser and one for the icemaker.Its called a double valve
and you have to replace both. even tho the dispenser is working.
Check ice tray for water if it has none pour it full and wait to see if it ejects after it freezes if it does then you probably need th double valve replaced if it don't then probably icemaker replacement

Icemaker does not fill with water
Try using an hairdryer or defrosting the unit completely , this often get rid of blockage caused by frozen lines fixing the problem.

The water lines can also be unblocked from dirt using a thin flexible shaft. This after defrosting.

If all that does not fix the problem, then you may need to check the wiring to icemaker solenoid.

Ice machine not making ice
Hi, everak11,
Three possible solutions for you.
1: No water coming in from inlet valve. Check voltage on inlet if you have voltage and no water then replace valve.
2:Icemaker not cycleing. Lift the arm on the icemaker to shut it off and leave it for about an hour. Come back in and turn the icemake back on by lowering the arm. If the icemaker does not begin a new cycle and the arm start rising then the problem is most likely an icemaker. Replace Icemaker
3:Refrigerator not cold enough. If the freezer is not getting cold enough the icemaker will not cycle. Check the temperature in the freezer and make sure it is getting down to 0 degrees. If not then you may have another problem with your refrigerator. I hope this helps you, Let me know if you have any other questions or symptoms. Mike

It sounds like you have covered all the primary troubleshooting checks. There is only one thing I can think of at this point.
Check the voltage coming to the water valve during the icemaker cycle. The power to the valve is decreased by the resistence of the icemaker heater from 120 volts down to about 108 volts. It is not uncommon to have a valve that will open when you put 120 volts to it, as you do when you switch solenoids, but not open at the decreased voltage when it goes through the icemaker circuit.
If you are getting voltage to the valve when it cycles, and you know for sure the water line to the icemaker is clear, then you will need to replace the valve.

Bosch Serie 2 KGN34NWEAG fridge freezer alarm sounding/not cooling in fridge compartment. Hi my 26 month old bosch fridge freezer has the temperature alarm sounding. The freezer compartment is cooling OK and it appears the fan isnt kicking in to provide cold air to the fridge compartment. Ive taken out 5 screws in the freezer, and removing 1 panel from the back reveals some electrical connectors, cables and a pipe. A tray also drops from the top of the freezer to reveal metallic cooling parts, its connected to a metal pipe so Im unable to completely remove it. Can anyone advise me where the fan is in the fridge/freezer unit and how to access it to inspect it? Or any other problems that could cause the temperature alarm problem Im experiencing?

Samsung side-by-side refrigerator RS265TDRS ice bin stuck The ClearView ice bin in our freezer has been jammed for a few months. It all started when the ice maker froze up(per usual) and I removed the bin and top clear cover to clean while trying to defrost the actual ice maker. When I reassembled the bin I must have misaligned some things so the auger has not/will not spin at all. I've tried forcing it to spin and tried to remove the bin again on multiple occasions but the sides of it have come out of alignment and the bin release handles no longer have anything to catch on to remove. I've forced defrosted and poured hot water in the dispenser parts many times to no avail. How do I remove the bin?
