When i add water to the coffee pot it pours out on both sides of the pot what can i do for this

To clean your metal coffee pot you can pour boiling water into the pot and add a few drops of liquid dishwasher cleaner. Leave it to sit overnight and in the morning tip it out and rinse it out carefully before you use it.

I'm assuming you've got a coffee filter pot as this is the most common kind (especially as wedding gifts).

1. Boil the water.

2. Put the filter (should come with the pot) into the filter holder.

3. Add 2 level tbsp. of ground coffee per 6 oz of water.

4. Pour some of the hot water over the coffee grounds, giving them a few seconds to swell.

5. Now add the rest of the hot water and allow the coffee to slowly drip through the filter.

6. Remove the filter with the coffee grounds in just before the final drops of water go through.

7. Now sit down and enjoy!

You should be able to pick up a replacement/new pot at your nearest Restaurant Supply store. Make sure you get a 64 oz./ 1/2 gallon pot.
Before plugging in your brewer, unscrew the sprayhead located just above where the filter basket sits and replace the basket, pour 3 pots of cold water through the opening on the top if the brewer is empty. This brewer has a reservoir that holds about 2 1/2 pots of water at brewing temperature when heated. Make sure you put an empty pot under the filter basket after pouring in the water. For best results pour the brewed coffee into a pre-heated thermal server if you plan on holding the coffee for more than 10 minutes or so.

The tank inside holds about 2 and a hlalf pots of water. Once the tank is full, whatever you pour in will come out. The unit has to be plugged in to make coffee. Leave a pot under the brew funnel and pour a pot of water in. If nothing comes out within a minute, pour another pot of water in. Still if nothing comes out do it again. This time for sure water will come out. It will take avout 10 minutes to get hot enough the first time it is full to make coffee. If you have a thermometer, the water should be about 190 degrees F to make coffee correctly.

No setup to it. If it is a pourover, add 3 pots of waterto the pour in funnel at the top. keep a pot under the brew funnel, The tank will hold about 2 and a half pots of water. From then on what you pour in is what will come out. If you have an automatic model, it would require a water line hook up and after 2 cycles water will frow from the brew funnel after that, let the machine heat up for 20 minutes and brew coffee like you would at home.

Hi, Get 2 pots place one under the spray head with the filter cone in....now fill the other coffee pot and start to pour water through the lid top front...keep pouring water through (about two and a half pots) until water starts to pour through the cone....now the tank is full plug her in and turn on the power switch at the back and also the front if there is one....place filter in cone..put coffee in filter...pot on burner...wait about 25 minutes until water in tank is hot...when light on front comes on pour another pot of cold water through the top and you will get a pot of hot coffee in bottom....I also think this machine can be hard wired into water main....get plummer to hook up...follow same procedure but instead of pouring water through top for coffee..hit brew switch. if it poors too much of too little you will find a timer in the machine you can adjust to allow more or less water...hope this helps.

before plugging in place your empty filter basket in the coffee maker and place a pot under it. Slowly pour in two pots of water using the pour pitcher. Now you can plug it in. it'll take 15 min to heat up first time . when you brew your first pot leave your water level a little short,because the water will expand (only the first time)

What's happening is that it isn't leaking, it's boiling over. You need to turn down the thermostat under the top lid. Also, before you brew coffee, add water to the tank and let it pour into an empty pot. Once it stops brewing, let it heat up for a few minutes then make your pot of coffee.

Occasionally with a Bunn you have to add some extra water. Remember when you first got it and you had to add water so that the tank is always full? It may be also that you need to turn down the temp. I need your model number to look for your manual, unless you have your manual? That is where we are going to find the answer. The model number could be on the back but it may also be on the bottom.
